quality food at budget prices with super fast service. wait staff are highly attentive with lots of attention to detail and complimentary items.
Best Indian place in town. Go on your birthday and they'll bring you ice cream with a candle and si g happy birthday to you in a cool Indian song !
Muy buen resto!!! Excelente atención ! La pasamos genial. Hasta la próxima
We loved the food and the experience. My 10 year old fell in love with the garlic naan! My favorite was the mango lassi! Service is great and the ambience made it a unique experience!
Great food but place is tiny
Love the service, food, prices and atmosphere. One of my top favorites in NYC.
Great food and ambeance. Make sure you bring cash. Other perk is BYOB.
Good food. Good service.
The food was great, but took a very long time after we ordered. There was also an enormous line; we only got in because we had a reservation. Having said that, it was a Friday night so I think the problems we just because they were insanely busy. Definitely worth going to.
Mr. Khan ran this business since very long time. It's great for small party . Specially Birthday party. Great.
Friendly, Good food, Good mood.
Starting with a relaxed and different atmosphere! It makes it seem like you're somewhere else in the world !! Wonderful food and the best Samosa I've ever eaten !!
Good food with crazy lightening
A few days ago I got one of my occasional sudden cravings for authentic Indian food. The island of Manhattan is filled with Indian restaurants, expensive or cheap, fancy or home style, authentic or fusion. For years you could go to 6th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenues (and around the corners at both ends) to find restaurant after restaurant offering all prices, styles, and versions of Indian food. In using this "category" I reference the old designation of the Indian subcontinent as "Indian", not the current political divisions of that geographical unit. Almost all of the old 6th Street restaurant district is gone. Few choices remain of the once myriad offerings. But one good one has survived around the corner from 6th Street at 93 First Avenue. Panna II is an authentic survivor of the many many now departed restaurants. They make is old fashioned well made Indian food. We ordered a mixed appetizer, a chicken dansack, and a keema curry. We took home a separate order of chiclen tikka masala. Everything was excellent and exactly as I remembered it. The wait staff was attentive, the service prompt, and the experience reminiscent of years ago. I also have to let the reader know that the decor was that marvelous chaos of hanging lights and day glo colors you never see anywhere else. I have to recommend this to anyone looking for Indian food at a reasonable price in Manhattan. It's not the prices of twenty years ago but it's still worth the expense.
Food was good but the place was really small
Packed, but the food was really good.
