Absolutely delicious. I don't eat hardly any Italian food that's not homemade by my family, but this place gives me a run for my money! Lasagna delicious. And that San Marco dish with Shrimp--Oh My!!! The hostess became my waitress (good call, Manager!) and she was fantastic! Thank you. (Mother's Day)
I cannot begin to describe how great the food was here. There was pretty much no room because all the tables were full and I can see why! The bread knots are crunchy on the outside but soft and flakey like a croissant in the middle with the perfect amount of herbs. I'm assuming they make their mozzarella in house for the tomato caprese because of the texture and flavor is unlike any I've ever had. If you go, spend the extra 2$ for the alfredo sauce, I promise it's worth it. All in all my wife and I only spent $28 (We did not purchase alcohol or desert). I'm looking forward to the next visit at my new favorite restaurant.
Great food! The Fra Diablo was spicier than I expected, but to my liking. The chicken marsala was "the butteriest, richest marsala" my boyfriend had ever had. I don't usually care for marsala too much, but I am definitely getting it next time. The chicken alone was plump and moist enough to envy, and I was enjoying my dish. We split a bottle of cabernet, which we enjoyed, and we started the meal of with bruschetta, which was very good. The service was decent, but it's no fine dining experience. The server forgot the garlic knots (BLASPHEMER!), and the wine service was amateur, but honestly, it wasn't at all bad. I've worked in fine dining, so I can be a little critical of the small things, but I'm also not about to take such small discretions out of the tip. The server was pleasant and helpful, and that was all I needed. Overall, I'm sure we'll be back. The food is great, the price is worth it, the service is decent, and the atmosphere is all right. The atmosphere is pretty basic for an Italian restaurant on the cheaper side. But on that note, the food quality is damn good for the price!
Great local family run Italian joint. Food is always great. Very fresh and authentic dishes. Been coming here for years and will for as long as they are serving such great food.
Food is great, customer service is great, setting is great, environment is great, but the portions have shrunk significantly over past few years, not great.
I was craving lasagna, and noticed good reviews for Italian Cafe so we decided to try it. We got spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer. It was very watery, basically we had to scoop out the spinach and artichoke pieces and place them on the pita points it came with...it was not a ship consistency but flavor was ok. The news came with rolls that were tasty. The lasagna was nice and hearty. Marinara sauce was a bit sweet for my taste but good nonetheless. Our server was attentive and did a good job. Prices were reasonable for the portion sizes. I saw pizza at other tables that looked delicious so next time I'll probably try the pizza. In sum, if you're wanting a casual Italian meal, consider going here, it will satisfy the craving!
Had dinner at Italian Cafe this evening for the first time ~ it was amazing! Authentic Italian food! Great atmosphere and excellent waitstaff! Will definitely be back.
The food was amazing! The garlic knots were some of the best I've ever had! I love the small, quiet atmosphere and open view to the kitchen. We will definitely come back and refer others!
The food was delicious! Loved every bite! I love small, quiet atmosphere and open view of the kitchen. We will definitely come back and refer this place to others!
Wow! Unexpected. Garlic knots - delicious. Chicken Milano - one of the best Italian chicken dinners I have ever had. Yummy wine, and my favorite course - the lemon mascarpone cake - go for this alone. Our server, Tung, was fantastic. They don't get much better.
Every time we go there the food is delicious! The atmosphere and staff are great. My favorite dish is the chicken parmigiana. Be careful not fill up too much on the warm delicious rolls that are brought before your meal. I always look forward to eating there.
My favorite place ♡ the owners are very nice, we stop in to eat atleast once a week
Always great service and good. Thursday half price appetizer. Open until 10pm.
We visited this pleasant establishment since our favorite was closed on Monday. We started with spinach and artichoke dip with triangle crackers. They were suppose to be toast with parmesan but was just soft crackers. The dip was good but we had to pouroff a shot glass of olive oil (too oily). I had fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and my partner had chicken Leonardo. Both were good dishes but not the best I've ever had. Mine was creamy but had a strange aftertaste to it. Not sure what it is. The kids had pepperoni pizzas wbich were good. The garlic rolls were good and the blue cheese dressing was great. Al in all it was good and we would come back. Please, bring a big spoon to the table. This is how it's done in little Italy. This is a must with pasta.
Our family found this place while searching for a great Italian food in the spring area. Which is very hard to find. The food here was excellent. It was great for our family with kids. I've already been back.
First time here last night. Everything we tried was great. Zane was our server and he was wonderful. We will be back.
Really enjoyed our first visit. Food was delicious and service was great. Only complaint too noisy. But I will be back
Delicious food and wonderful service.
Best Italian in the area. Nice staff.
