Food is delicious but it was cold ☹️ Great taste, right flavor but we're expecting better. Nice place
Great food. Brisket was outstanding. Service was also very good.
I had 1/2 lbs of brisket (and some burnt ends) and the mac and cheese. The brisket had a nice flavor, good smoke ring, and bark that had a good peppery spice from the rub. The meat was not dried out but I prefer it a little more moist. Maybe it was just the meat I had at the time of day (4 PM). It was a very late lunch. I went there because it was the most highly rated brisket in the area and I must admit that it was tremendously better than a place that was supposed to have good brisket that I went to in Falls Church. The jury is still out for me on Texas Jack's: I need to have the brisket again and try a few other meats before I can give a trully informed endorsement.
Great atmosphere even better food. From the pulled pork to the brisket to the wings you name it the coleslaw it was all on point
The food was excellent... especially the brisket, brussels, & esquites. Service was prompt and friendly. And I really like the family style menu...so you get to try more things. Glad we had a spot on the patio though.... it was an hour wait inside and it was SUPER noisy. Like couldn't hear the person next to you noisy. Valet girl was kinda snippy for no reason, but it didn't affect our dining experience, so it's whatever.
Food and service were excellent Very noisy but that was to be expected since it stays crowded
Yummy BBQ, hit the spot. We didn't even have to wait for a table outside! Great brussel sprouts, mac and cheese, and fries, and delicious pulled pork!
Best BBQ in area. BEST Brisket I've ever eaten. Love their Kale salad too. BBQ chicken is flavaorable and moist. This place ROCKS!
We had the brisket and sausage which was as good as you can find in Austin. Sides were much better and a little more daring than Austin, but not Lampasas. The noise level is much too high for friendly conversation among Barbecue expats. The sausage portion, a smallish single link, would have been fine if two showed up.
Really good BBQ and sides. The place is pricey, has valet parking, and will serve you some of the best BBQ you've ever had. I always search out the best BBQ when I move to a new area. It's hard to find better than this place serves.
Service was a bit slow due to holiday which is understandable. Server was friendly but the valet was exceptional. Free valet which is always nice. Food was good.
This was a very good barbecue experience. We are originally Memphis Barbecue people after spending seven years living surrounded by some of the best Pitmasters in the world. Also Memphis BBQ is primarily pork-based BBQ. In this case we tried one of their sampler platters which included brisket, chicken, pulled pork, ribs, and a sausage link. We also tried the cornbread and pinto beans. Overall I would give the brisket five stars and the rest of the barbecue 4 stars. It was all delicious but the brisket was absolutely mouth-watering. For dessert we tried the key lime pie which was average. Like many of the people who have commented before I would agree that the restaurant is loud and the service is spotty. That being said we were impressed with how fast the food came out once we had ordered. We will be back.
Great BBQ place, brunch was a good choice
Great food, variety of local craft beers, friendly staff
Love this place. I don't get back nearly as much as I would like. I love the brisket and mac and cheese. The kale Caesar salad is also a favorite. Try everything. I haven't been disappointed with anything.
The beef brisket sandwich was delicious and the service was excellent.
The BBQ is great, they have an excellent bourbon list, and the staff it's top notch. It is very pricey for a bbq joint, but worth it. I was surprised at how much 1lb of brisket cost me, but the bourbon helped me not worry about it. I probably won't do that again 😉
Tender meat and awesome sides!
