We went in for dinner last night after a long flight and my friend's impromptu wedding in The Garden of the Gods. We were looking for a nice place where could have a couple drinks, some good food and relax after the eventful day and were not disappointed. I was a little concerned when we overheard a conversation the staff was having about someone not showing up and there only being three servers for the night and still, the service was good. It took a couple minutes for them to regroup and for us to be greeted but the rest of the evening went just fine and the food was amazing. The Cantina Nachos, Fundido and Pork & Avocado Burrito were all delicious, beautifully plated and served in a timely manner. I doubt I'll have the opportunity to go back but, I'm so glad we found this hidden gem.
Perfection at every turn. The food is remarkable. Haven't tasted a complexity of flavors like this since visiting Santa Fe. The saffron rice is delectable. Kudos to the landscape & building architect, as well as the interior designer. I wish we didn't live so far away. Pats on the back to all including the wait staff. The photo does not do justice.
One of our top go to restaurants in Manitou Springs, great food and service. Very cool building with great inside and outside seating.
We are there after visiting Garden of the Gods. Food was very good and the staff was very friendly, professional and accommodating.
This restaurant has been around a long time because of the attention to quality food and service. I had the beef enchilada with green chili sauce. If you like Margherita's this is the place to go. Be careful because they pack a big punch. They also have outdoor seating weather permitting.
This place is SSSOOO good every single time. I highly recommend the Mango Missy margarita and pretty much anything on the menu to eat!
Family stopped by for late lunch after Garden of the Gods visit. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food, desserts and a delicious Mango Missy cocktail. Waitress was very sweet and accommodating. If we get back to the area, would plan to eat here again!!
Awesome food...great feel and overall vibe. Really, excellent food.
Service was a little slow but they were just gearing up for supper so to be expected. The Happy Hour Margarita's made it worth the wait. Loved the Fish Tacos and hubby enjoyed his Spinach Mushrom Enchilada. This used to be the Mission Bell Inn which was one of our favorite restaurants. Still good under new ownership.
Amazing food and a cozy place to relax with a drink and friends.
We loved the food! Mexican food done right - very tasty and excellent quality
at least in our humble opinions. Food is fresh with healthy choices, service is great, prices are moderate. margs are very good
Loved this place Great outdoor area, relaxing, great vibe Great wait staff, friendly not rushing you Excellent food!!! All 5 of us got different things no one was disappointed Cocktails where the best very fresh wish this little surprise area was in my backyard of Texas Must go back again, we will be back we are working on a business deal around there.
We love finding those places off the beaten path and this was a gem. We will be back!
Thirty minute wait on a Thursday night is always a good sign! So we ate at the bar and were not disappointed. The chips and salsa were excellent as was the freshly made guacamole. We had the cheese enchiladas with two sauces--green chile & tomatillo alfredo. Our Tex-Mex roots not withstanding, these enchiladas were outstanding! Great house made margaritas and tequila selection too!
Great food. Great atmosphere. Wonderful service. Highly recommend to groups or for special occasions.
Great service..great food...great atmosphere and Very best fresh margarittas!!!
We stopped by for a authentic Mexican meal in Manitou Springs on the way through town. We had the chicken nachos, the Mexican sampler, pork and guacamole burrito, and fish tacos. The chips and salsa were excellent! The chips were thin and fantastic. The salsa was homemade with a very unique favor! We loved it! On the Mexican sampler I choose a enchilada with red sauce (beef); fried fish taco; and chile relleno with green sauce. These were all absolutely great! The fried fish taco had a mango salsa that was incredible! Definitely have one or more of these!!! Don't stop reading yet!!! THE PORK AND GUACAMOLE BURRITO was the absolute BEST burrito that we have ever had!!!! Our waitress, Alyssa, was super sweet and very helpful to make choices for navigating the menu! We are so glad we made a stop to this wonderful restaurant!
Someone here pays attention to the details. Thin house-made tortilla chips, great salsas. Not your average Colorado Mexican, but clearly that's the heritage. Everything prepared with fresh ingredients so that flavors come through. My wife had the chicken enchiladas with three sauces. Tomatilla, red and mole. I "slummed it" with nachos, but because of the great chips and finely chopped chicken, i was very happy. Pleasant environment and nice people. We will go back whenever we're in Colorado springs.
Amazing food and Margarita's!!! Best in both the Springs! Won't drink Margarita's anywhere else. High quality ingedients! Great staff!!!!
