Great food. Quiet, comfortable restaurant
great spot with lots of veggie options! Favorites: the Ezme (spicy!), the Mujver zucchini pancake (a little salty), and the yummy Baked Eggplant.
Best Turkish food in Chicago. Lots of room. 2 dining rooms. BYOB does not serve liquor. They delivers locally as well. The place is loved by the locals and does very well.
Great techno music. 3 floors each with different sounds...
Had never had turkish food before and it was delicious. I would say, there were some of the better kebabs that I have eaten. In full disclosure, we went with a bunch of turkish people and they knew what to order, so I dont know the names of the dishes. the must haves are: - the chopped liver with potatoes and onions- this is an appetizer - the lamb kebabs with beef gyros- this dish comes with rice and thin pitas - the salad with feta cheese The dessert that I liked the most was like a caramel custard, the others were way too sweet for me to handle! Portions are super huge by the way, enough for 2-3 to share. The ambiance is laid back and casual- definitely not a date place, more like fun with friends. At the end of the meal, they serve tea- best drunk with lemon and honey.
Great atmosphere. The food was delicious as always. Excellent service.
The best Turkish food in the city with really low prices. I have half of the menu so far and everything was awesome.
Wonderful Middle Eastern food. BYOB and outdoor patio a bonus!
This just might be my favorite restaurant in the city. The dining room is intimate and cozy (perfect for date night), the staff are all incredibly kind and attentive, and the food is ABSOLUTELY. DELICIOUS. The iskender is a favorite, but if you're new to Turkish food, go for the gyro kebab! So so good!
Amazing vegetarian appetizers and entrees. Our out of town guests always ask to eat here. I enjoy the meat entrees as well.
Great outdoor seating and solid food. BYOB is a plus. Went for dinner but saw what must have been a lunch menu with lower prices online.
Fantastic patio, food and waitstaff. Highly recommend if you like Mediterranean food. I looked for the vipers mentioned in the other review, none to be found. Maybe they only come out in January?
Consistently great food. Service is soemtimes slow but I think it's my expectation to eat and run (unlike most people).
In my opinion, the best Turkish Cuisine in Chicago. Great food, great service and won't break the bank.
Good space, tasty food!
I moved into the neighborhood last September and this has been my best find. Their hummus is fresh and authentic. The bread that comes with it is homemade and delicious. I will sometimes get the donner kebab to go and it's good for two meals. The restaurant is a lovely place to enjoy dinner outside on a Chicago evening and its BYOB. Can't recommend enough!
Byob and flavorful rib sticking dishes. You'll be full and happy leaving here.
Excellent Quality, Good service. Best fish in Chicago, lamb and chIcken w salad are great as well. Excellent representation of turkish food very authentic and fresh. Highly reccommend.
