Decent coffee and wifi. Good place to work. Great choc croissants!
Good coffee but as usual in this area its expensive. Nice service but atmosphere is a little cold.
Best coffee I had during my stay in the States.
Great coffee, nice employees, excellent ambiance. A great place to hang out and work or study.
Serves Ritual coffee with vegan salads from Cafe Gratitude
Really enjoyed the coffee and atmosphere. Chill.
Vanilla BEAN latte- wonderful
Delicious pastries (pumpkin pie cheese cake croissant!) and small brunch/lunch items, great coffee, easy atmosphere, never a line. It's awesome. Only warning: parking can be brutal at times.
Best coffee in Los Feliz, Silverlake, Echo Park, Downtown, and Hollywood, period. They only source Ritual, the folks here know what their doing, and are well trained on the V60! I recommend a East African pour over. Great for working and meetings too. Peace Bru!
Good coffee and pastries
Amazing coffee and environment if you have money
Absolutely fantastic! Sure the decor is lacking but the truffles more than make up for it. Melt-in-your-mouth nuggets of deliciousness. The proprietor makes them on site and in a slew of flavors and types. $1.60 for a coffee and a taste of heaven? How can you beat that?
Simple, good coffee. Do you need some caffeine? Do you need tea? Or do you just need a place to hang out? Bru will suffice...
Latte is the best part of my coffee habit @ Bru Coffeebar. This place is one of my favorite spot of a cup of Latte and sometimes I go for Cappuccino. Their pastries were fresh and delicious like Ham & Cheese Croissant. Love it here!!! I wish you could visit too!!! Must try!!!
The staff is wonderful. Really down to earth guys, funny, and best of all NOT snobbish like the Intelligencia staff. Highly recommend!
$10 for soy mocha and ham/cheese croissant. But man was that a good croissant. The mocha was delicate and pleasant... and very caffeinated. Even an 8 ounce mocha wired me, be careful if you're used to getting a 12 ouncer at other places. Wifi very good. A few seats have power (important for my old laptop). Plus, it's the only coffeehouse in the city with a view of the House of Pie :-)
Definitely a great place to sit down, have a coffee, and get some work done. The atmosphere is chill, the coffee (even their instant gratification) is really tasty, and the wi-fi is solid. Don't expect to find an outlet though. They need to keep people moving through somehow. Parking can be questionable on the weekends, but during the week you should be able to find some free neighborhood spots.
Good coffee and chill atmosphere.
I'm an east coaster, haven't been to the west coast in years and still believe Bru Coffeebar was the best cup of coffee I've ever consumed
