After reading the reviews of this restaurant we decided to check it out ourselves, so glad we did! The food is awesome and you have a great view of all the barges and the ferry. The staff is friendly and helpful, the restaurant is clean, it was a little noisy but not annoyingly so. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Great good, great prices, yummo. When visiting Battleship Texas or San Jacinto Monument you gotta allow for the food stop. Salad, chicken tenders, good gumbo, fish & chips, grilled tilapia was amazing and portions were HUGE portions.
Blackened catfish monument is awesome!
Love this place been here once returning soon
Great food and margaritas...Cool Baretender..
I kept hearing about this place and finally tried it. I want to let you know you will end up in the ferry waiting line before you arrive at the parking lot. If traffic is clear, just pass the car as they regulars leave an open space to the parking lot. The restaurant is upstairs. (Downstairs is rental space for events.) It has a water view front of the Lynchburg ferry. You can watch tankers, ships, ferries all pass by while you enjoy your meal. After you order, they bring dinner rolls and cinnamon raisin rolls complimentary to the table, nice touch with the sweet rolls. Calamari appetizer, $6 and blacked fish sandwich, $9 (picture attached). The calamari is great, perfect crisp, good pieces, no tentacles. The fish sandwich was excellent, well seasoned and had the right texture to it, flaky & moist. Fries came with it and the lettuce, tomato & pickles are served on the side. Service was good, can't complain about anything. Will definitely be back again!!
Great food, though very busy. Fair prices. Wait time longer than usual because of many groups
Dinner was very good. I like mine and my wife like hers. The only issue was it was so crowded it took awhile to get a table and to get service. We had a table with a good view of the channel, and the monument. We like this and go there routinely as a local restaurant.
At the entrance to the new Ferry Landing. Love to watch the ships roll thru with the best food and service
We met friends on Saturday evening for an early dinner. We had to wait for a table for 5 for approximately 15 minutes but that was OK due to the fact the place was extremely busy! Our waiter was Zachary and he was GREAT ! The Snack Attack and our dinners were delicious! Plenty of left overs to take home. Always great service, food and scenery. Thanks for another great memory with your restaurant!
Very good seafood and the ribeye was tasty as well. The restaurant sits by the ship channel.
We love eating at the Monument Inn. Best seafood around.
The food was good. It could’ve been better in terms if taste.
Food is outstanding. Love watching the boats.
Best seafood ever. Fisherman plate.
Best view,best food,best price

The food delicious and prepared perfectly. We dined at lunch and the atmosphere was light and fun. The service was great. Our waiter never skipped a beat.
