Always a fun night when JJ is serving. Clean, quick, lively, reasonable in the very pricey Hamptons. Winter happy hour is great - 4:30-6pm, $5 plates, $6 drafts, bar pies are crisp, tasty calamari is fresh and not greasy. A fun laid back Friday night crowd in the front room. Love sitting by the glass doors. I'm here a few times a month, never gets old. The town square of our EH village. Around the block from BookHampton, so you can shop and hear some authors, then pip over here for Cappuccino. The wine is serves by 1/2 carafe in a little Italian style glass, so it feels authentic. It's about 1.5 glasses per carafe, actually reasonably priced at $16 for a nice pinot.
We enjoy this restaurant very much! Convenient location in town! Great selection of food!
Amazing place great salad bar reminds me of delicious orchards in jersey
Caesar salad was very good. However the Orecchiette Pasta was al dente.
Burger was amazing.... I know I had a burger at an Italian restaurant, but it was super tasty!! Top service, and excellent food!!
I was planning to order the fluke but the server suggested the ciopino. It was okay, but had mostly calamari. The two crab claws were tiny, each with less than one bite of meat. So, even though I gave it four stars , the meal was a 3, i.e. average. The early days of Citta were much better, such as a large bowl of pasta with a generous amount of pesto, peas and other vegetables. That dish hasn't been on the main menu in years. Despite the average entrees, the place keeps packing them in.
I enjoyed our visit to Cittanuova very much... perfect summer afternoon sitting in the front by the greenery. The food was excellent as was the service... and we could bring my puppy Molly to the outdoor seating ... and here is another plus, the other patrons were friendly and a good time was had by all!!! I know this place gets mixed reviews, but we go here fairly often ever since my wife found out they have a dry aged burger. Dry aged burgers are a whole new world of burgers, and, oddly enough, this Italian place has a great one.
We ordered the olives to start...good assortment. For dinner, we had the bucatini and the gnocchi. Very good. Gnocchi had a few tastes of fennel which complimented the dish well. The pork belly was crispy/a little dry but it seemed like the oil at the bottom of the dish was probably pork belly fat so overall, it was great. A dew bites were slightly spicy but I wouldn't say the whole dish was spicy. Also ordered the tiramisu which was great.
Favorite eatery in East Hampton! Never disappoints! Pasta..salads..bartenders JJ & David are first class and our favorite Vodka Monopolowa is here! Outstanding 😊👍🏻. Food is consistently great for all these years.
Denise Volpicello........what a class act!!! Awesome general manager - kind, friendly, knowledgeable........Thanks for a great lunch!!!!!
excellent and reasonable! great find in East Hampton
A great restaurant to have dinner at when in East Hampton. Better to go a little earlier, seems to get crowded later in evening.
Wonderful and good prices in expensive East Hampton
Great food at reasonable prices, with fantastic atmosphere and it's one of the few restaurants in Hamptons that stays open year round!! I Highly recommend you stop by Cittanuova the next time your in East Hampton!!
