Cool atmosphere, great food and friendly staff.
Excellent customer service! Laid back atmosphere, not a loud place, and the drinks are top notch! They make their own rum, and it's fantastic. The food is..... Wow. We ended up having bananas foster bread pudding with creme brulee ice cream. It's a must stop by place when you get a chance. Looking forward to coming again.
Great way to start the trip. Historic building with a colorful history. Small but nice menu (great flatbreads and pot-pies). Entertaining bartender mixes some GREAT drinks!
Great food, good drinks and a cool restored building with a long history with Natchez and the Natchez Trace. Owner Doug Charboneau is very welcoming and hospitable. We had a great time visiting during John and Jen's wedding weekend.
Really cool setting and vibe. Solid food and drinks. A must visit in Natchez.
The gourmet flatbreads were delicious, and service was exceptional. Be sure to visit the adjoining distillery and pick up a bottle of their rum!
Unique place/building with gteat choices of cocktails. The food was also delicious.
Loved this little gem! It reminds me of the little pubs we would visit in Scotland. You may be making a mistake by not ordering the charcuterie board. The flat bread is to die for, order anything that it comes with! Don't miss the "I see London, I see France"!!!!. This drink is a perfect balance of gin, St Germaine and mint served by the delightfully sarcastic Manager Ricky who teaches the mixology classes. Not only is he funny, he has some incredible stories about the history of this fine city!
My friends and I came in to Natchez over Memorial Day Weekend 2017 looking for a cool place to eat. A friend had recommended this place and I'm glad we made it. The rest of the town appeared to be dead (Im assuming either because of the holiday or the river flooding—the latter of which we had no idea about until we got in), so we were glad this place was open. Wow, what a great experience. The building and ambiance of the setting added to it, but the staff and food really took it further. The cocktails were great, and the pot pies were delicious. After eating, we trekked up the stairs to the shop and further up into one of the "museum' parts of the building. Really cool history about the building's significance to the old Natchez Trace. One of the employees in the shop (also server) shared with us some places to check out. The next morning, at Steampunk coffee, the bartender (or owner?) remembered who we were and struck up a conversation. Overall, very friendly. Southern hospitality at its finest.
The history is what drew us into this place. My wife and I went to go see the King's Tavern, and learn more about it. We did the distillery tour next door, walked upstairs to read the history, and finally had some dinner. We had the Brisket Flat Bread and is was great. We also had a few cocktails to go with dinner. There was an RC Cherry Cola Rum drink that was heavenly. Jade was very informative of the location, and even surrounding areas. Later that evening when we were leaving they even informed us on a place to go have a drink after. All the employees are very friendly, and helpful. Will definitely be back very soon! Thanks for everything. #travelingchihuahuamamas
The oldest standing building in Natchez, great atmosphere, great food, a unique place to eat.
We came in on a Sunday night. Having travelled through the States for a couple of weeks now, the King's Tavern offered the best food we've eaten so far. The steak was phenomenal, and the menu was good for vegetarians too (the biscuit pot pie was fantastic). Cocktails were subtle and delicious. Highly recommended.
Great food and drinks. Wonderful atmosphere. Service is great
Great food nice people
We had my brother's wedding rehearsal dinner here tonight and everything was fantastic. Food and all. I also want to say that Alison was amazing. She did a great job juggling all the orders and running everything. Alison deserves a raise and/or be made a manager
Awesome find great food and service
Verry good food, service might have been a issue.
Great food, great atmosphere, hilarious owner. Will definitely be be back.
One word, phenomenal! We came for a place to sit and drink coffee and the history, the manager talked us into some food. Hands down the best restaurant in the city. Muffuletta was AWESOME! Coffee was GREAT, and it's not even a coffee shop. Hummus was good to, and I don't eat Hummus. The one thing I will elaborate on since I know I haven't is the service. Top notch! Great hospitality, manager and was accommodating for our kids, told us some stories. Joked with the kids, bar back was on top of order and getting drinks. When I say I'll be back, you better believe it. THANKS for redeeming Natchez from being a bust on good places to eat!
