There for a company event. The food and service was excellent.
Wife’s birthday trip to SF. Got a table up on the mezzanine level right by the glass. Great night views of Bay Bridge, arriving ferries. Food was really good. Service only keeping me from a 5-Star. And it was certainly average or better. I had the Cioppino. Second really good experience with this dish here. Wife had a seafood variety pack all of which was good. Salmon and lobster were particularly good. We’d return
Top Notch service amazing food
Великолепное расположение ресторана. Бронируйте столик на веранде - получите вид на Bay Bridge! Обслуживание на 5! Из еды понравилось - огромные гребешки, крабовые котлетки (растворились на языке сразу)) и картошка с крабом!
Great waiter and sea food specials. Very nice atmosphere at the foot of the Oakland Bridge. The price was high but to be expected in San Francisco.
We had dinner her a few nights ago, and I must say that the view from this restaurant at night is magical. The food is good, not great, but the view makes up for any mediocrity in the preparation. The lights on the Bay Bridge at night reflected on the water combined with the lights from the restaurant are mesmerising. If you are looking for a water view restaurant in SF this is it.
Muito bom marisco....lool...
Très convivial soupe de coquillages excellente
My daughter took us here and I expected the normal tourist experience but I was totally wrong. Superb service and excellent food. I had a lobster ravioli which was excellent.
It's okay go for the view...it's not about the food
Delicious chicken with mash potatoes. Beautiful view on Pier.
Very friendly, helpful staff, and a great Dungeness crab sandwich. The location on the water is also very nice.
Excelente comida, vinos deliciosos, atención perfecta y vista espectacular. Una parada imperdible en San Francisco. Yo, definitivamente regreso en mi próximo viaje.
We were taken aback by how busy the whole area from Pier 1 to 41 has become, the last time we were in San Francisco over 20 years ago. We weren't hopeful that we'd get in anywhere but tried this place and found plenty of space. Perhaps because it's a little more expensive. But we only wanted a light salad for lunch. My chicken caesar was just perfect as was my wife's salad. It was such a relaxing place we ended up having a lunchtime glass of wine. Good service, reasonable value and wonderful food.
Visiting SF and looked for quality good seafood. Salmon was tasty and lobster was perfect. Atmosphere was nice sitting outside under an umbrella. Great place!
Having passed by some chaotic cafes along the piers, we were blessed to find this place where we were shown to an excellent table with superb views. The food - we chose seafood - was also excellent. I went out of my way to find and compliment the proprietor.
Don't disagree with most of the posted reviews but I would not write this place off as hopeless. I came for the view, some good seafood, and a nice bottle of wine. I got all three. The service is terrible, through no fault of my waiter. He tried but the entire staffing is poorly coordinated. But once I had my bottle of wine that faded away and the magic of watching the lights of the Bay Bridge took over. There were three items on the menu that sounded attractive, sole, sea bass, and scallops. I asked my waiter what he would recommend and he was definite - the sea bass. I probed, as I was leaning towards the sole. Why do you recommend the sea bass? The flavor, the way we grill it, it just is the best thing here. So I did it. Right choice. The grilled flavor came through not only on the fish but also the underlying brussel sprouts and potatoes. Really a nice dish for any restaurant, and with the view, a slam dunk. For the wine, I went with the 2016 Rombauer Carneros Chardonnay. As a winemaker myself, I know the winery and the vineyard, plus the price was only 2x retail, which for a restaurant is not too bad (disclaimer, I am a huge fan of the Australian BYOB system but alas, that isn't happening in the States). As the food and the wine settled in I watched the lights come on the Bay Bridge and really, this is why I came to San Francisco and why I came to this restaurant. So with all the caveats of the other reviews and my own service warnings, I really do recommend this place. If you know what you are doing and order right, it can be exquisite.
Ho cenato insieme ad altri colleghi. Ottima la frittura di calamari e buonissimo il cioppino, il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo vino californiano. Location accogliente e atmosfera piacevole con vista sulla baia e bay bridge. Consiglio.
