Great place to eat some good food
Shrimp and alligator po'boys are the way to go!
this place is one of my favorites, after visiting new Orleans couple years ago, I decided to get a drink at the bar attached to this restaurant, found out about Hobnobbers and tried their food... CHEAP AMAZING AND FILLED WITH SOUL .... they have the cheapest food around the city that is made with someone who takes pride in their good ol' cooking, the Male owner is usually working there with employees, this made it even more welcoming for me personally...Eventually I ended up moving to NOLA , and from there went here often , always hot food, quality ingredients, cheap prices .... if you can get over the outside of the building and how it is designed, you will come to find out this place is a HIDDEN GEM ..... they do daily specials...keep in mind this place does close early so make sure to go for an early lunch !!!!
Oooo We! Every dish tastes like it came from your Grandmother's kitchen. Paper plates and plastic utensils. They keep it simple fresh and funny.
I found this place a year ago and luckily located it again. Best breakfast in NOLA. Buttery biscuits the way momma used to make, If you need fancy, go somewhere else.
Was looking forward to eating here but unfortunately the kitchen was closed (Sunday). So instead had a couple of drinks and chatted with a very friendly Bartender about the place and some nearby alternatives. Will return next time I'm in town!
The food is amazing! It's small and hard to find if you aren't looking for it, but this is a place I will definitely go back to when I visit new orleans next.
Hole in the wall place. Excellent! You can't go wrong!
This was a recommendation from our hotel staff. Talk about some of the best home cooking food. For breakfast you've gotta try the hashbrowns. The best ever. Here for the weekend and had breakfast everyday.
Great little bar. Clean restroom. Great hospitality our waitress is great her name is Raluca. Shes from Romania. Great service.
Very friendly spot, if hard to find. Great breakfast at a reasonable price....a hidden gem
Having A Great Tyme At Lundi Gras. My Cuzing Hang Out. Nice Place Too Chill.
Stopped here twice for breakfast. It's a little interesting getting in - there's a "guy" out front who will walk you in down a long hallway. The place was filled with locals both times. We ordered a variety of meals over the two days. The staff was friendly and the food was good - but loaded with butter.
The food here is basic, affordable and delicious! The food was piping hot and remained hot during the entire meal. The catfish with remoulade were some of the best bites I’ve had in NOLA. If you’re looking for minimal ambiance with good down home food, this is the place for you. If you’re looking for fancy ambiance with fancy food, this is not the place for you.
Yes! Yes so much!
A lot of people judge a book by it's cover but don't do that here, don't let the entrance deter you from going in. They had the best food we ate during our trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. The food was great and the employees were even better, so very attentive and friendly. We will definitely visit again.
Went for breakfast. Got cheese grits shrimp and a biscuit and it was delicious! The portions were huge, I couldn’t finish it, for a good price. Definitely gonna go back next time I’m in NOLA! (The staff was friendly as well)
We accidentally stopped here for breakfast and we're glad we did! The staff is super friendly and the food portions are generous and damn good! The food is server on paper plates and you eat with plastic utensils, but it's good (and you don't eat the plates and utensils anyway!)! We will come here again and it won't be by accident!
Always....My Go To....Breakfast and Lunch... Lightening quick home/business delivery...
I used to order breakfast or an entree when I worked in the Quarters almost EVERY TIME. Consistent. Flavorful. Decent portions ( I usually have nothing left ) And again. CONSISTENT. FLAVORFUL. Who knew toast could be so astonishingly prepared!
