Lovely staff, great food, hearty portions.
Originally from Lafayette but been in Dallas last six years so we were looking for a good plate lunch and we found it here! The staff treated us like family and served us the best food we found in the area. We ordered the fried shrimp plate with mac and cheese, gumbo and shrimp poboy and the fried fish plate. Fantastic. All of it. And we took a lot of it back with us. I recommended this place to everyone we ran into who asked for a great creole meal. Can't wait to go back!
Great food, cold beer. Life doesn't get better.
Arrived for the first time on a Saturday afternoon, our hotel was just around the corner so came here for a drink and something to eat before we could check in. Well drinks amazing value at $5, after a few I was hungry, was told kitchen closed at 2pm. My hubby had burger and I had the pancake special, this was served to us the the bar. To us the food was great and we came back for breakfast the next day, really enjoyed it apart from the grits.. we are from Scotland, we didn't know what grits were apart from porridge oats and let us say we won't really try them again..not horrible but tasteless. Good friendly service. Now to the bar..well I will say on Sunday I remember going in and being served by Andre(Oh what a splendid party!) I just can't remember coming back out. On our return after a cruise we went back to the bar, the staff remembered our drinks order - fantastic- good juke box, met a few good people and boy are we gonna return. This was our local place to be, not too sure about the butt plug keyring for the toilet tho!!
Great people. Great drinks.
The food in this place is GREAT! I had the shrimp and crabmeat casserole with baked macaroni and cheese, potato salad and banana pudding. My husband had the crawfish and corn bisque with a shrimp poboy and bread pudding. We are locals and Hobnobber's is in our top 5 places to eat! If you want Great New Orleans food for a Great price, This is the SPOT!
Nice place to hang out.
Amazing breakfast and great service. No wait and fresh food
Amazing breakfast with no wait and great prices!
The manager ( I'm bad with names) made me feel at home, like one of here regulars, I was there every night of my trip. Thank u and the rest of ur staff for making me feel that way, I'll see u all when I return
Ok local bar
The restaurant is truly a hole in the wall, but the food was really good..if you are looking for fried fish. This is your spot..
Great food and drinks....Go see Raluca🙌😍
Food was amazing it’s always the smaller places you can tell the food was cooked with LOVE! Great prices and great food! South Florida approved!
Food was pretty good & the service was fast to say it was crowded. Paid $2 to upgrade from smoke sausage to hot sausage because hot sausage isn't a breakfast meat. It was a little confusing because they served a hot sausage, eggs & cheese on toast for breakfast.
Friendly local bar with good prices. Real New Orleans and not touristy.
This place was the bomb. It was delicious food with no frills. You walk up and order and wait to grab your food. The staff is so friendly, it’s pretty quick even with a line. It was a place even the locals were grabbing lunch. My coworkers got the fried shrimp plate with Mac n cheese that looked to die for and an oyster po boy with the gumbo. Bottom line, this is a good spot and I’ll def be back!
I'm from Detroit and visited New Orleans for a friends birthday celebration. I would leave my group to sneak off n eat at hobnobbers. I even stopped by before my flight out and got me a crab cake meal for the flight.
The best Crabcakes in the world!
