Bomb food!!! Beautiful welcoming staff and locals 💗
Great food great staff! I'll def be coming back.
My sister's favourite watering holes
Hobnobbers was our very first stop in New Orleans, and it sure was fabulous!!! Now, it IS a little different, back down a hallway, through a door, and then you must order and pay at the first window, then pick up your plated food at the second window before settling into a seat. We weren't sure what to do when we got there, but they helped us! The people that own this place are super friendly, and even helped my husband out by sharing some gum (his ears were stuffed from the plane ride!!) But the best thing about them is they can COOK! Their gumbo is the best I had my entire trip in New Orleans, and I ate a lot of gumbo! Their shrimp and oyster poboy was great, too... I think my only regret of our whole trip was that we didn't get back there a second time (we should have, because their food really was AWESOME!) They close early, so make sure you get there for lunch or you'll miss out!! Really, truly, the best food, and very nice people!!! Definitely recommend!
Gumbo and oyster Po-boy absolutely fabulous. Great prices. Great find.
After being enticed in by a guy on the street, I am NOT sorry we went in and had breakfast. Good food, friendly staff and we would have never eaten there on our own! Definitely a happy hole in the wall!
Food is awesome! We grabbed extra plates to take back to Atlanta!
Authentic New Orleans Food. Very tasty and satisfying.
You go to Hobnobber's for a beer, but you stay for the food. We stumbled into this place after seeing a parade and really just went in for a beer and to use the bathroom, but when walked into the back room and saw the food everyone was eating we knew we had to stay. I am still thinking about that crab bisque we had. The best part is you don't even feel like you're eating in the middle of busy city. 10/10
I had the crabmeat bisque, catfish and the shrimp and crab casserole. they were all delicious. I had to go back one more time before we left for miami.
Very cool mom and pop joint. Good hot breakfast and friendly service.
Stopped in for a late night snack and wasn’t disappointed. The Shrimp Po boy and Gumbo was excellent! The staff was very friendly and recommended some awesome food! I’ll for sure be back.
Walking down the street wouldn't have known it was there, if it wasn't for a gentleman at the door asking if we would like a good breakfast. Walked down a really weird hallway and found a little restaurant in the back. Good food and reasonably priced.
Food was good and service was quick
Eat with the locals! You will come back again and again. The food is made and served with love. Breakfast will hold you all day.
Come hungry! Great oyster po-boy and killer gumbo. Friendly staff, awesome food, perfect funky New Orleans environment
My husband and I went for lunch and went back for breakfast the next day because it was so good, large portions, and great customer service. Crab cakes, fried fish and shrimp, Mac n cheese, pancakes, everything was great.
Super friendly staff and attentive as well. Didn't try the food, and it's ten dollars minimum to pay with card.
