Good food and excellent service.
Although this restaurant is one flight down, patrons will be happy to know there is an elevator down the hall. So no excuses, you can make it. And it is worth it. The decor is upscale and golden. They also have rooms for private events. The menu is traditional and offers an excellent selection. My favorite is the PuPu Platter, which gives you a few appetizers on a Lazy Susan. You can control the degree of cooking yourself too. The service excellent, and we always take food home. No matter what entree you select, it will be delicious. They also have amazingly crunchy noodles too!
good and healthy
Outstanding Chinese food
A favorite for take-out, excellent dine-in experience.
Old fashioned down in the basement Chinese restaurant. Good food & service. I would recommend this place.
The food is quite good as well as the impeccable, friendly service but the place is a bit dated.
Excellent food can't wait to go back again never unhappy
Excellent food great service very enjoyable
Food was excellent good selection of dishes and the service is excellent can't go wrong
Great food and quick service.
There is truly no finer Chinese food on Long Island than Orchid! We have been coming for the past 20 years and always have a great experience!! The service is always top notch thanks to our favorite waiter Gary who has become a part of the family! The food is second to none; our favorite appetizers include the scallion pancakes, their ribs, dumplings, crab Rangoon’s, and of course the egg rolls. Their Peking duck is phenomenal as well as the sesame chicken, multiple lo mein’s, and the best pork fried rice!! Their ice cream is the perfect end to the wonderful feast!! Highly recommend!!
Great place, great people and great food. super friendly service
The food is always delicious and the service is excellent very friendly.
High end very good Chinese food in a nicer than usual setting. Great service and priced slightly high.
Very good. My only problem is that's geared more for people who eat with forks and knives, so pieces are bigger than if geared towards chopstick use.
