All beef meatballs! Simple Italian food. Bring a bottle to make it better. Small cork fee, BYOB because Canned Drinks are pricey.
My husband has been wanting to take me, " to this Awesome Italian restaurant with a byob policy ".🤔 Well, Friday evening, it finally happened!! The food was beyond awesome, (being a NOLA girl, born and raise, I'm a Foodie by nature) It was Delicious!! 😋The service was good, the staff was friendly and attentive, the ambience was cozy and we left there Full and Happy😊. I can't wait to go back, but next time with our favorite bottle of wine. 🍾🥂 All I have to say is, he was Right...
I do not hand out five star reviews easily. With that being said I am thoroughly blown away by the food at this place! I have been looking for good Italian food in the area for quite a while now with no luck untill now. This place has amazingly good authentic Italian food. I had the gnocchi with cream sauce and grilled chicken. It was the best I've ever had! My Husband had a Stromboli. Delicious! Both came with salad and bread. There were 2 different kinds of bread. Both of them were outstanding. This is a small restaurant that gets very busy. We were there right when they opened and watched the place fill to capacity while we dined. The staff were friendly and quick. We will definitely be back.
Loved it! Good food, good service. I know I'll be back again.
My favorite pizza place!
The best Italian in the metroplex. BYOB, outdoor seating, great service.
Great food, large helpings, friendly service.
FANTASTIC Italian food. Homemade pasta, sauce, desserts, etc. I've had a few different dishes and every single one has been phenomenal. So thrilled to have found this hidden gem
Good meal with exceptional wine (byob). Will go back many more times with friends and family.
Excellent food and service
First time at Covina’s for me and my fiancé believe me won’t be our last !! The food and the service was on believable .. my new love
Covino's is a great BYOB Italian restaurant. The chicken wings say "best in town" which would normally be a ridiculous claim from an Italian, but they are really good. Not "best in town" but quite good. The serving sizes are pretty large for the price. Definitely a place to try if you like pasta and Italian sandwiches. Haven't had the pizza.
Finding authentic Italian food in Dallas is next to impossible. Covino's is the exception to that rule. The pizza is the best in the area and their gnocchi is awesome. I have never had a bad meal here in the over 20 years I've been going there. The food is consistently great and it's one of the few places I consider worth waiting for a table.
Joe runs a great restaurant with great food and service.
Good food and prices.
BYOB. Have been to this restaurant many many times. Everything is good. Usually get the sausage and peppers or the chicken aristocrat. Pizza is very good. Lasagne is very good. Tiramisu and Cheese Cake are amazing. Nice family restaurant.
Always good food.
Great food and service!
Independently owned and operated by Plano resident Joe Covino, this place is an institution based on good, quality Italian food and service. It is really popular every night of the week, and even half full during the week for lunch. Yet it is hidden inside of a run down Plano Strip mall, with no signage visible from Parker Rd. and no advertising that I know of. If you haven't been there yet, I would recommend withut hesitation dining there soon. It is a bit hot in the summer on the patio but fun. Families and couples, BYOB, you won't mind a short wait to be seated, and you'll be very pleased with the food.
