best italian style pizza in forest hills
I work near this place ...I order very often salads and pizza there ... if you go to place the service is very good they make you feel like family ...the pica taste delicious. there is our week end family reunion .
Really good. Calzones asbig as a child's head.
Pizzas and calzones are great as well as canollis and tiramisus. Nice setting. Can be crowded. Nice service.
This pizza is good. I usually go there with my family on the weekends. The place is usually full. The pizza tastes good. Many toppings are available. The stuff is lovely, the atmosphere is casual, it is not a fine dining restaurant. I recommend this place.
Great pizzas! Slightly over priced, but I think it's worth it
More like a solid 3.5. Nice thin crust, a lil too charred on the edges, sauce is lacking a lil flavor. Used to taste better.
Best pizza in town. Thins delicious dough, tastes crisp and delicious available in White and Red and a wide variety of toppings available for an extra charge. Choice of fresh salads and a large variety of wines and beers. For dessert you must order their cannoli; it’s the most delicious rich and creamy dessert I’ve ever had. All nicely served by a friendly staff and quite reasonably priced for such great quality.
Nick's is one of the best pizza spots in queens. They have delicious thin crust pizza in made fresh to order in a brick oven. They always impress and we are always hungry for more!
If you’re in Forest Hills, this is definitely a go-to. The pizza is the main attraction, of course. You can be a purist and enjoy a fantastic margarita style, or - and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you’re craving a meat & cheese delight - the white pie (mozzarella AND ricotta), with some prosciutto. Or, the staff is so lovely - they’ll prep a 1/2 & 1/2 situation. The staff again, lovely! So sweet and accurate and quick! Very hard to pull off all those characteristics, but they do an awesome job. Ambiance is casual - not your romantic, dimly lit grotto, but certainly fine for a few dates in. With or without the kids (stroller, too!), or on your own. The calzone ain’t nothin’ to scoff at, either.
Excellent as always!
Buona pizza a detta di un italiano.
Great brick oven pizza. Crust is very thin.
Good place with good pizza. Some people said that it is best pizzeria in Queens. And maybe they are right. Prices are little higher then other places, but it worth it.
I love their gormet pizza!
One of my favorite local pizza spots for something a cut above the standard New York fare. If you are turned off by the price for a pie, you're missing out on something really special. Definitely stop by the place during happy hour specials and you will not be disappointed by their drink specials. Salads are solid. I recommend either a salad and a small pizza or just a medium pizza if it's just you and another person, simply scale up from there.
If you're seeking a heavily laden pie or slice with loads of gooey cheese and dripping tomato sauce, you've come to the wrong place. Nick's offers fresh brick oven pizza—made-to-order pies (no slices), with a crisp thin crust and a little bit of charring (not a bad thing). And Nick's is a couple of bucks more than more ordinary pies, but they do take credit cards. Choose from a large selection of fresh ingredients in ample quantities, from peppers and pepperoni to sausage, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, and broccoli...plus about 20 others to build your favorite combinations. You can also select from several fresh salads, calzones, and a small selection of deserts, such as tiramisu, and cannoli, and a choice of fizzy beverages.. Eat in or take out...although getting a table and demolishing a pie or two in this lively atmosphere is more fun. No reservations, and on a Saturday night, you might have a wait. Just wait...it's worth the pizza.
