I love Concord Library because it has a very cool play area that my three-year-old can associate with other children and they upgraded bathroom. It's kind of a homeless hangout spot but oh well they have a killer part next door to it and we enjoy it very much going there just kind of far from El Sobrante but not impossible
Best for kids 2yr+, parking was plenty.
Fun for small children
Nice. Quite a place
Wonderful for smaller children - perfect rides, caring staff, clean & good food! I don't mind paying for "expensive rides"...what are grandparents for?? 😃
I visited Pixieland with my son for the first time today. We had an absolute blast riding all of the rides and watching the geese at the little pond that they have. The most notable aspect of our visit, however, was the park staff. I read a review that someone left about how they are poorly staffed and yes there were only like three employees there, BUT each of them were amazing and were pivotal to the quality of our experience. I seriously watched one guy help at least 3 families at the snack shack, have a conversation with each of them while cracking jokes, then somehow made it over to our family right afterwards to run the merry go round, then as soon as the merry go round was over, he was painting a butterfly on some girls knee in within like 30 seconds and he did it all with a genuine smile and good attitude. It was impressive. We will be returning.
Pixieland is a Concord tradition. It's easy to get to, little kids love it, and it's a great place for a special event for your kid. if you join their Facebook page, you're able to get some better deals on tickets, as if you have multiple kids going and can start to get a little pricey.
Great for younger kids
This is a great place to bring grandchildren ages 1-8 years old. It is really small. You can cover everything in an hour and half, which is the time span of a toddler. There is no entrance fee but the ride tickets are pricey. Some riders require 2 tickets AND that a adult go with the child, depending on their size, do it can add up. But well worth it for a one time visit!
We went after hours but still had a great time
This place is great for littles. Its small enough to where you don't have to be so afraid of them wandering off far. It can cot me and my two $60 to ride everything and get a snack. When all is said and done they are ready for a nap amd have won a toy.
Brought my friends kid here at around 10:30 on Sunday and figured we would spend about an hour here and we did. She was too afraid to ride anything but loved watching things move and had one go at the merry go round (1 ticket per rider, so I spent two tickets, at your highest cost, would be about $4.50). The place was very short staffed, but the staff overall were very real about the situation and friendly despite the obvious stress. I wouldnt call this place cheap, but it's affordable for toddlers and young children for the area, and works well to get some energy out. I'd bring the munchkin back here, even if it's to run around and watch the rides, because this place is festive, enclosed, and admittedly pretty fun just to hang out. The kid brought some toys and was delighted to play with them on the static quarter machine movers ($1 per ride) and had fun running around looking at everything. This is a perfect place to introduce kids to amusement parks. It's small and very manageable, for the amount of hours of operation and the location, I completely understand their pricing. If it seems pricey, it's because it's fair to the area. The fact that I didn't have to buy the 10 ticket pack ($19) didn't take away from the visit, and I know my friend will still use the tickets eventually, and I wanted to make sure if his kid wanted to ride anything that we would have the means to do so. It's a unique place to bring little ones and honestly I would picnic here with toddlers if only to have a neat change of scenery. Kudos to the staffers for keeping their heads cool in their rough situation and running as many attractions as safely and efficiently as possible! It's their job to keep kids safe and they did a well for how many visitors they had.
We had a great time! There were only 7 rides which makes it ideal to spend about 2 hours or so. It's perfect for children 8 and under. Lines were very short. Staff were very courteous and friendly. Another great thing was that parking was free.
Our kids, 6 and 3 yrs old loved it. The roller coaster was a big hit, as were the other rides.
Loved it, staff was really nice, food was pretty good my 18 month old really enjoyed the rides prices are reasonable
Same experience as Legoland for 1/10 the cost.
Great place for a quick get out of the house thing to do.
Great place to take your kids for about an hour or so. Joey a few rides, quick in and out.
