Ended up here by default (the 2 places recommended to us were full/closed) and I am glad we did. Very nice food.
Lovely waterside setting, enjoyable 60's-folk music by a talented performer, and oh, yeah, the food was great. Perfecty cooked, nicely presented, and very, very good. Don't miss this gem.
The greatest restaurant on the shore!! Food is perfectly cooked and staff is loving and delightful!!
Great food, prices & views! Fast & friendly service.
We were the first customers on the last day of their year. The cream of crab was delicious. We enjoyed the cheese curds. My grilled tuna was amazing! Great food, great service!
Best seafood on Chincoteague!
Love this place! It's a favorite of mine. Great food.
We went to Chincoteague on a midweek getaway. I had broiled flounder and my wife had scallops. It was an excellent meal but the star of the show was our waiter Ken. He went above and beyond to help us plan our meal and was an excellent waiter during the whole experience. We would go there again in a heartbeat!
Nice place with a varied menu. On recommendation of our server, we all ordered burgers and everyone agreed they were way better than average! I probably would go back if i am ever back in Chincoteague.
The steak was the best I have had in months
Smashing location, very picturesque. Good food, would happily return.
Everything we had was delicious! Oysters Rockefeller Amazing! Bouliabas Amazing! The Bouliabas was full of clams, oysters, scallops, shrimp...OMG! We will definitely come back to AJ's again!
Awesome happy hour awesome people always friendly
My wife and I had dinner here in the middle of a week-long trip throughout Delmarva and the Eastern Shore and, as the title suggests, this was one of the best meals we had. The food was delicious (grilled scallops for me, crab cakes for her), the atmosphere was quiet and relaxed, and the service was the best we've had anywhere in a very long time (special thanks to Ken). Can't imagine that there's a better meal to be had in Chincoteague.
Food and service is very good
We dropped in to AJ’s for my birthday dinner. Very impressed with the food. House wine by the glass was fine by me. A Pinot Noir for me and something white for my wife. Started with grilled veggies, humus and pita. Nice assortment of veggies: onions, green :-( peppers, broccoli, onions, mushrooms and an artichoke heart. Humus was obviously made on site. Tasty. My wife had the filet, I had lamb chops. They offer a choice of two or four chops. Actually each “chop†was two to three lollipop chops so my four was just about a rack. Medium as I requested. Juicy, very flavorful. Potato and a salad come with the entire. No good dessert options for us with our sensitivities so we opted for coffee and Sambuca to finish a great dinner.
We ate here 2 nights while in town, both nights the service and food were good, maybe the best Ceaser salad I have ever had.
