Fantastic food. Good price
An great place for a breakfast buffet. Quick and simple, has the most common foods for breakfast, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, eggs Benedict and made to order omlets. Only $10 pp
We had the lunch sized haddock dinner. the fish was cooked to perfection and it was a good portion for the price. I liked having fresh green beans and the rolls were warm and seasoned. I would recommend them to friends and family
Friendly service, great selection of surf and turf!
Waitresses and hostess are a little judgy, but other than that it was decent.
Home style cooking with excellent homemade soups, a good salad bar, fast friendly service and ample portions. Favorites are the surprisingly excellent pasta dishes and fresh tasty seafood.
Food was great. Great waitress very polite. Cute place
The food at the Bull and Claw is excellent. Their seafood is always fresh and perfectly cooked. I particularly like their fried clams and fried scallops. They also always have several specials at reasonable prices which which include their salad bar. It has both booth and large table seating. It can be a bit loud due to the open concept seating. The staff is always pleasant and accommodating. I recommend this restaurant.
Was across the street at Maine Diner however we've eaten at Bull & Claw and the Food is Super.
The food was great and our waitress was more then great she was the best. We cant wait to come back and visit.
Sounds fancier than it is. Food was good, service was good; just not as upscale as expected.
Great food and great portions. Staff was fantastic. Prices are fantastic for the size and quality.
Best breakfast buffet ever every sunday all you can eat
great food awesome salad bar good service great prices
We come here every trip and have a good meal. My husband has fish, but I love the twin lobsters. One I enjoy for dinner and the other for breakfast.
Great food and fantastic service. loved the atmosphere. We will definitely come back when we are in town.
Stopped at the Bull and Claw during our last sojourn to the great state of Maine. Right on Route 1 in Wells, this place is a great stop for some home cooking and/or seafood.. The restaurant is spotless. The service staff is well trained, attentive, and easy to engage. Well balanced menu with much to choose from and all reasonably priced. We opted to share the 2 foot lobster roll, which is actually a baguette. This is not for the faint of heart. This roll is STUFFED with huge chucks of lobster meat. We were told it contains 3 lobsters worth of meat; amazing! Another wonderful find along one of our favorite roads in New England. The Bull and Claw is now added to our "stop whenever we are in Maine" list.
I had a cheeseburger from here and it was amazing - absolutely delicious! The rest of the family enjoyed their meals as well. Would definitely stop here again when in the area!
Delicious worth the drive
