Love it! So good! Chimichangas are amazing
Authentic food and margaritas the size of your head!
Shrimp tacos was good. Guacamole was delicious.
Although I wouldn't consider myself a "regular", I've been coming to Jose's consistently for over 25 years now, I think. Is that possible? The place never changes. Good food.
Really cute place, good service and good food. The nacho starter was great and the chimichanga was delicious. Salsa was really good too. Didn’t love the rice but everything else was good.
Great authentic food!
Awesome food and huge margaritas. Much larger than it looks from the outside.
Small restaurant, but very cozy. Plenty of free parking, which is always a plus. Ordered the steak fajitas for two and was extremely satisfied. Plenty of steak andbthe chips and salsa they give you are pretty decent too. Didn't get to try their margaritas but they looked enormous. So therefore, they must be delicious. Friendly service and good food. If you're ever in the mood for Mexican and happen to be in Cambridge, check it out.
Awesome food + atmosphere
Great food, drinks, and atmosphere. This place is a hidden gem!
Great food and drinks. Love the esthetic decor made me feel like I was in Mexico.
Excellent food.Cozy and warm. Like the ambience. Best part is the easy parking
Pitchers of margaritas and the best house salsa I've ever had. Nice atmosphere and a good place to hang out
Great staff and convenient location
Had a nice experience. Steak Tampiqueno was very good. Tamales were dry and came with very little meat. Mole was excellent. I’ll definitely try it again.
Delicious food, friendly service, nice portion size.
Fabulous urinating experience. A small but unique spot with a lot of privacy. With only one restroom per gender available and margaritas flowing with the intensity of the Nile one would expect a crowded lavatory. Have no fear, optimized to the location's smaller size, you'll have no issues completing your business in private.
Delicious Mexican food. Great option for my wife who has Celiac disease.
I have been living in Lexington, Mass. for 12 years and I was extremely surprised to discover this new Mexican gem in Cambridge. Before this, my favorites were Ole and Acitron. As soon as I entered, I was charmed. It was a gloomy afternoon but plenty of light outside. Inside, it was lit like a midnight carnival. Dim but charming lighting, colorful decor, paper decor strung across the room, colorfully tiled table tops, hats, pictures of the Holy Mother (?) In short, vibrant. Huge margarita glasses. Up to $75 a glass teguila shots. Spiced up salsas. Decent steak (could be a little tastier). Was not blown away by the tastes but the overall experience was enlivening (if you get the gist).
The quesadilla was not the best, but the server took care of it and we enjoyed the taco salad it was great. The taco salad is full with avocados, chicken, and it's loaded.
