Old School Steakhouse. We have been going there for years. Best Steaks, Prime Rib, Seafood and more! The stuffed bake potato, is a Must have. Family owned on a pleasant drive to Canyon Country.
Delicious food. Great server!
Great steaks cooked to perfection.
Haven't been in years but went for lunch today and nothing has changed. Food is super good (I recommend the cheese toast and broasted chicken) and the service was awesome!
Small place, but excellent steak and staff is very friendly
i will be back with my relatives. the prices are well within reason for the quality. food is like a place in baltimore i loved.
Perfectly prepared meal with great service. The dessert was excellent as well.
Outstanding place. The staff is great, and the food is very good. They also make an outstanding mixed drink.
Yes, the ribeye at Larson's is very good (been there once), but the Backwood's ribeye was very close at less than half the price. Backwood's sides were also just right and you can't beat the $6 glass of Cab. Service was great, Patty and Mayson could not have been better. Hadn't been in awhile, will definitely be back soon.
I love their food it's always perfect service
Wow, why didn’t someone tell us about this place?? Food was yummy, the selection is vast, and pricing is lower than it should be!!! Waitresses are family friendly, and this is one of those one off, deliciously decorated, have to come back again soon places!!! Tell em’ The Sinatra Guy sent ya! Sincerely, James Ross I

Excellent steak dinner and service.
the waitress was friendly fast service food was delicious the restaurant with super clean
Lunch was superb in a beautiful, well-appointed setting! Each table had a white tablecloth, with very fresh flowers - and a lighted candle - with just the right amount of sawdust on the floor to make it feel very comfortable. The 4 long etched glass dividers between our line of booths and the charming bar even had "BI" (Backwoods Inn) artfully carved into the center of each. The glass-front cabinets on one wall had old West treasures, and there was a small room near the front door for coats, as there should be. The coconut shrimp with orange marmalade - an appetizer - was the best I have ever tried. My friends finished their beef choices and we loved the popular Christmas music selections that were playing. Around the room, near the ceiling, was green garland with many tiny white lights - except for the bar, which had a festive line of red lights. We left feeling nourished, festive, and satisfied we had just had a lovely Christmas luncheon - and would be back soon to enjoy more.
Amazing place, amazing food
Service and food are outstanding. The prime rib was delicious and well prepared. A big thank you to Al for making this a pleasant dining experience.
Its been a favorite of mine for many (50+) years, staff is fun and friendly, food is just like grandma used to make. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.
