Great food. Quick service. Very hectic, but when you’re enjoying the food you forget about everything else and can’t help but think, “Wow, this really was the best choice possible!” :)
Great food. I've had my share of indian food all over the bay, and this is just all around very good, no complaints. also nice ambiance inside, and they were nice about us bringing our 6 month old in with us :)
Solid place for food but you don't come here for the food you come for the novelty. It's really small so expect to be jammed into a table. It's BYOB which makes it affordale for NYC. The best part is the lighting. Its a fun experience with good Bangladesh food.
Great food, one of a kind experience, one of the most memorable restaurant experiences I have ever had. Little tight on space but was totally worth the wait and any other small inconveniences.
Posto unico, la location vale tutto
Complete insanity in the best way possible. The restaurant on the upper right as you look at it from the street is the one to go to. The others are fun and the food is good, but if you want the whole experience, the upper right is your jam. It’s completely adored in flashing lights, colorful ornaments, and is usually quite loud with chatter and music. Prepare to be hot, to have little leg/personal room, and to eat amazing Indian food. It’s just like being in Mumbai- crazy, intense, amazing.
This is a pretty unique place overall due to all the crazy lights and music, but I must say the food is really good. The rice was cooked to perfection and the meats and sauces were good but not too overpowering. Try the food!
Tasty food with a very unique decor.
great food, nice service.
I spent many meals during my college year at NYU eating at Pana II. It's a great place for date nights, groups of friends or some solo time. Be prepared for a crowded dining environment, the charm of Pana II is you feel lik you're sitting inside a Christmas tree. So if you're on who needs a lot of space, there are plenty other restaurants on Indian row that can accomadate. But Pana II is an experience like no other. It's the best example of how New York City businesses make it work. Oh and the food is 1000% delicious! Authentic, affordable and the service is efficient and friendly. You kind of feel like you're in India.
The fish curry was absolutely delicious, but this place is all about the thousands of Christmas lights hanging from the ceiling. The dining room is highly instagramable and a really great find. It would have got an excellent if the staff hadn’t been so unnecessarily rude.
Fairly standard & straightforward North Indian cuisine in the East Village . . . but you're coming here for the atmosphere, not the food. Dining in this chaotic tangle of string lights while waitstaff artfully navigate the narrow corridors is truly a unique NYC experience. Definitely not for the claustrophobic! Make sure you enter the correct doorway (up the stairs & to your right) and beware of neighboring restaurateurs attempting to lure you in to their copycat establishments.
Look for your country's flag, it's fun!
I was watching Daredevil S2E5 and Matt and Karen were here!!
Great restaurant and excellent service. Food was good and we got mango ice cream on the house as it was my birthday. They also gave us a lovely window seat. So happy I got to celebrate my birthday here! Very instagram worthy. Definitely recommend eating here.
