We went on a Friday night, and there are 4 restaurants with the same idea in the same area. When you walk up the Panna II it is upstairs on the right, the owner of there restaurant on the bottom right tried to usher us into his restaurant. Pay attention or you’ll end up in the wrong spot. Now we had about a 20min wait outside and when we got called upstairs WOW!!! The restaurant is small.10-15 tables and the lights and items hang so low you may to duck a bit if your tall like me. It was a fun experience, they have Indian Music playing and it was a blast!! The food wasn’t the best Indian food I’ve had but, it was pretty good.
I accidentally walked in to the restaurant just downstairs, but Panna II is on the second floor! It’s a small place with cool decor; the Christmas lights create a fun atmosphere. However, the ceiling is low, so tall people be forewarned. BYOB, which is nice, but cash only. I ordered the Channa Saag, which was really spicy but good.
This is a classic BYOB, Christmas lights everywhere E6th St Indian spot! The food is great & the service is wonderful!! Tall people like me have to duck the lights to get to the table lol.
This place is amazing chicken curry ! The staff is so friendly too!
On ne va pas dans ce restaurant pour la nourriture :)
Amazing have to visit
I’ve been coming here since I was a little kid and I love it so much! When you walk up to the place there’s 2 restaurants and they’re will be 2 guys telling you to come to their restaurant i find it hilarious since the places are identical! They have these amazing lights and Indian pop songs and the food is great! The place is really tight though so i wouldn’t recommend bringing more than 4 people.
I'm not a huge Indian food person.eith that said the food was ok, but the people i was with seemed to love it. There were some regulars in the place. It's really cool cause they have hanging lights from the ceiling and thats always fun. The kicker is that there are 4 restaurants , 2 up top and 2 on bottom. They compete for people to come in so it can be a bit over whelming. We chose the bottom cause we had a baby and a stroller with us. So, just be prepared to get convinced But a word of warning for the tall people. I javent been to the top restaurants in a while so I dont remember how low the lights are. As a 5'10 person on the bottom i had to been to get to my seat. I have big hair so it did get stuck in the lights as i walked in and out 😁😁. So, dont get mad at bending or getting caught, you've been warned.
Good food n good vibes!
Muy buen restaurante de comida India, buena comida, atención y decoración!
Better than the other places
A little cramped, but the humorous experience combined with decent food made it worth it.
Comida indiana original. Ambiente apertado que lembra as ruas na Índia.
Woooooow. Panna II is one of the coziest brightest funniest indian places in the east village. The multicolor lights in the narrow dining room are amazing! Good food, great experience, outside drinks allowed.
Great atmosphere if you like loud and busy!
Food is really tasty! Quick service. The place is small and feels a bit to much, but it's nice to have experienced it!
