I really can’t recommend this place enough. The lights are really fun and give it a real atmosphere. The food was AMAZING. We had the veggie samosas, garlic nan, chicken balti and lamb rogan josh and it was all delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I honestly can’t wait until I go back.
Cool to visit a Daredevil Season 2 filming location.
I love this place!
This is one of New York's beat kept secrets. All the food is lovely. The decor and the music are very authentic and unapologetic. Despite the homey appearance, you will have some of the best food you will ever eat. Make sure to get a Mulligatawany Soup and some puffy fresh fried poori bread. Then get one of their signature Vindaloo curries in your chosen meat. The most fluffy and flavorful Basmati rice cones with it and a bit of Dahl and Picked Vegetable. For a less spicy choice sure to please, get the Chicken Tikka Massalam, with cream, coconut, and slivered, toasted almond slices. You automatically get more extras with all of that and a mango ice cream for desert. Cash only. You can eat well for $40 for two people. No liquor license, byob for those who indulge.
These four restaurants down on curry row are all so fun. Keep in mind it's more for the byob nature and atmosphere than the food itself.
Amazing place to hang with friends and enjoy some great Indian food. Yes the place makes for some great instagram momments.
Awesome food and a great time
Good Indian food with a unique atmosphere. The ceiling is covered in Christmas lights. Check it out if you are nearby
Great food and good service
WWEEEEIIIRD decor, but so unique, and a great vibe. Food was good too, however, they didn't have garlic naan when I visited, so we had Garlic Paratha instead. Which was still pretty great. Would definitely recommend.
This is a very cool place with fantastic food. Authentic Indian cuisine (verified by my friend who went with me). The decorations are awesome, lots of dangling lights and the place is lit up like a disco for birthdays, which we luckily got to experience for a person at the table next to ours. The prices aren't bad either, especially for the lunch special between 12-4pm.
Spectacular restaurant with yummy food! I bring with me this cookery experience <3
Colorful and fun. Great authentic Indian
Yes, it’s tacky, not particularly genuine and the food is not the best Indian. But at the same time you won’t have more fun at an Indian restaurant independent of the quality of the food. It reminds me of a night out in Bombay with Indian friends dancing and jumping happily to the beat of the music and putting a shot you your hand every 10 min. Love it!
An awesome dinning experience, good food, good service, awesome atmosphere. It's BYOB so don't forget to grab a bottle of something on the way.
I went here with my family for my 26th birthday for the first time, I found out about the restaurant on my instagram explore and even though I read a lot of bad reviews about this place I went there. Food was good, service was good. A lot of attention and love my family and I got from the service. If you’re like me, that like to explore and go to unusual places, this is a must go!
Great food, great service, great ambiance. I will be coming back again and I highly recommend this restaurant!
This place is Absolutely incredible. I could not give a greater recommendation. The food was astonishing, the atmosphere is stunning and the staff are wonderful!
