One of my favorite spots for a sit-down meal with friends. Good Italian food with generous portions. I love the sandwich and salad combos as well as the pasta and pizza choices! Casual environment with mood lighting that can make it slightly difficult for older eyes to read the menu, but adds to the ambiance of the place. Quick take out and delicious lunch specials are super convenient!
Their pizza and meatballs are the best. Friendly local place with lots of delicious bits. Ate there 3 times during our recent visit.
This place is such a gem in a little shopping strip. We had a few dietary needs in our group and this place really wowed us with their gluten-free and dairy-free options. SO DELICIOUS. Everything we ate was incredible. And the service made us feel like we were regulars. Great staff, great food, we went twice during our short visit and we'll be sure to come back again.
We have lunch or dinner here a couple of times per month. Enjoy the food and the staff are usually great. White bean soup is one of our favorites, which goes nicely with the spinach salad, which is huge and always pretty good. Pizzas are thin-crust, our favorite, with many choice of toppings. Wines and beers are all pretty good choices.
Visited family in VA. Looked for a restaurant that met all the dietary requirements of a 21st-century American family (vegetarian, gluten-free, meat-eating, and must serve drinks). Bingo! Pie-Tanza hit all the marks. The pizza was fabulous, the service (always important to me) was excellent, and the price worked. Very happy we went.
Adoramos o PieTanza 😁 Para almoçar, jantar ou levar para casa! Excelentes pizzas em forno de lenha e maravilhosas saladas.😋 Ambiente acolhedor e familiar com excelente atendimento. Recomendamos.
Pie-tanza is a fun restaurant that is very family friendly. Food is good and plentiful. Salads are large and pizzas are delicious.
I love this place! I usually grab lunch here because I work nearby and the staff always goes above and beyond to make sure I'm happy. Everything I've had here has been delicious. Great pizza, great sandwiches, and awesome salads. And it's extremely cheap compared to anything else in North Arlington. It's also pretty much the only place open between 2:30 and 5 in the Lee Harrison shopping center. Definitely worth a visit!
pie-tanza is simply a gem of a neighborhood restaurant. Consistently excellent food, portions way too big, always room for a cannoli.
Lugar con buen ambiente, comida rica y personal muy agradable. La masa no tiene el trabajo necesario de una pizza italiana, pero los ingredientes son buenos. Fue una buena experiencia.
Always good brick oven pizza. The lunch special is my go-to (individual pizza 2 toppings and a drink). Staff is friendly with for service.
Such a wonderful place. Family friendly, super good food! Our favorite place!
I've visited Pie-Tanza a few times. I normally get a simple pizza, but their appetizers and salads are great as well. (I haven’t tried any of the entrees, but they all looked very good). They normally have a reasonable selection of wines and a few craft beers (only $5 corking fee if you bring your own wine). It’s a very kid-friendly casual family restaurant so feel safe bringing your young ones here for dinner out, the crowd is easy-going and jovial. The price point is very good for this part of Arlington. The parking is a bit crowded due to the strip mall it’s located in, but I’ve never been unable to find a spot. It meets all expectations for a nice family restaurant!
I come for lunch specials and it's always fast friendly service with good food.
Great pizza. Great lasagna. Great wine. Who could ask for anything more? Busy place and very family friendly. Gluten-free free pizza is the best in the area, bar none.
Refreshing to get such great service. Thanks everyone!
First time there - got table right in front of the pizza prep chef station - fun atmosphere, great service and great food at reasonable prices. Definitely will be back. Very family friendly.
I loved it everyone was great !
When I'm looking for quick Italian food, this is the spot that I frequent. You must get the chicken farm entree! The chicken is so tender. The meat lasagna and sweet tomato penne are pretty good. The meat lasagna is sweet, but not overly sweet. The sweet tomato cream penne is good for someone who is looking for a pasta dish with a creamy sauce. The restaurant doesn't have an Alfredo chicken dish, so this is what I normally order. The antipasto salad is also a good choice with chopped up Italian meats, olives and banana peppers (yum!). The service is pretty decent. I have never had any major issues there. The restaurant has a rewards system that I would recommend if you frequent this spot. You have to download their App, which is called Cardagin. After accruing points, you can get rewards such as $5 off. When you pay for your meal, mention that you have the app. You will have to write your phone number down on your receipt so they can record your points. For this season, they have a gift certificate promotion. If you buy a $50 gift certificate then you get an extra $10 off your next meal. For those that frequent the restaurant, it might not be a bad idea to buy these for yourself. Just saying...
