Good show! Sushis bons, mais pas exceptionnels. La température des sashimis était un peu trop chaude. Prix raisonnables.
Yesssss. So good. We tried two different sushi options which were both amazing and we went during happy hour so it was also at a great price. Tried the mai tai's since that seems to be the Hawaiian thing and they weren't for us.
Decent sushi, good service. They were very accommodating to our parties multiple requests.
Great food with live music. What more can you ask for
Just had cocktails. Nice friendly staff.
Great deal for happy hour sushi. Good service, good location and you can order from the regular menu at a discount for happy hour (classic rolls...there were a few to choose from)
This is place has a fun atmosphere. Local entertainment is personable and funny. The Sushi rolls are full size creative and flavorful. The fish is as fresh as can be and they also serve Thai food. I travel to Kauai on business from Oahu and eat here for dinner almost every night while visiting. They have happy hour and all the servers and staff are friendly.
Make sure you get a reservation as this restaurant is very popular. They cater to everyone in the party and we had delicious sushi, greatly spiced Thai curries as well as chicken fried rice.
We hit the place late. It's in a shopping center right next to most unique hot dog place I ever dined at and Keoki's paradise. They had a singer, the servers were great, atmosphere was nice. The food was fresh and good, but over-priced and "typical" and I guess I was expecting more from a fresh and unique perspective being on the island. If I could merge Makai Sushi and this place at the speed of light, you would have the ultimate sushi restaurant. If you want great location, it wins. You want great sushi, it is good, but not something to be remembered for years.
How this place is sub 4 stars is beyond me. We walked in there after trying to go back to puka dog, and sooooo glad we did. We sat at the bar and Joe was our bartender, waiter, server and everything else. He was great and funny. The sushi was absolutely delicious. I honestly think it’s the best I had in Hawaii honestly. We got The Rolling Stones roll (perfect with the jalepeno) and got the trio rolls (included California, philly and spicy tuna) man o man, was this good stuff. Also tried the Maui Coconut porter there, which was reasonably priced at 5 bucks. I truly enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. Don’t let the lower rating fool you!
We had the yellow Thai curry with coconut rice and egg rolls. Both were really delicious !! Would highly recommend.
Busy restaurant. I had my first poke bowl and really loved it! But my husband's order, a California roll, was sort of underwhelming and rather small for the price.
This place can be crowded, but it's worth the wait. Love the creativity with the sushi rolls and they do not disappoint. Didn't feel gouged either with their prices.
This location is not correct. It is actually the same building as Bangkok Bowl in the same mall. Sushi was good.
We came here on Christmas Eve and we tried a little of everything. Maybe it was because we had just spent an amazing day at the beach and were all hungry and happy but we all loved our dishes. We had: - Yellow Curry Chicken - Orange Chicken - Pad Thai - California Rolls All were very good. We shared everything and all agreed we will be eating here again when we come back in a few months.
Sushi was very fresh and all locally sourced. Excellent Pad Thai. Service was fun and friendly. Great happy hour and lunch specials.
Good food, great price. Pad thia and poke bowls were great( had lunch orders). The server was great until she gave us the check and never picked up my card. I only had enough cash for a small tip, and after ten minutes of watching her chat and roll silver, that's what she got. Probably not a common mistake, but worst time to forget about a table for sure.
The sushi is made on site. We had the crab, ahi, and a'u rolls. They were decent and ok-priced. The surrounding area has a nice atmosphere; with lots of shopping.
Although pricey, the rolls were good. JB roll was the best! The place had live music and service was also good! Definitely recommend if your wanting a casual place.
Incredibly friendly, great food, decent prices.
