Excellent service, great food, nice atmosphere. Vegan-friendly dishes and variations on menu items make for a place I can return to regularly. Waiter was knowledgeable and helpful in guiding my table to our final selections. Very busy at peak hours, mid afternoon lunch worked out good for my group.
I have driven by this restaurant so many times and never visited. It was my son's turn to chose a lunch place. I chose soup and sandwich. The crab soup had celery, mushrooms and corn. Sounds odd but was fantastic. Then we had a grilled cheese with asparagus, bacon, tomatoes and crab. Again, sounds odd but so good. I checked out the plates around us. It seemed like hearty helpings of real food. Definitely check this place out.
Even though the line was long for the dining area, we were so fortunate to be seated immediately around the bar. We were so well taken care of there too! Wow! What fun! The food was delicious, the bartenders were awesome, the price was right! Great atmosphere and such a fun time and place to be there!
My family and I were on vacation touring the historic sights and were told about this place by one of the tour guides in Colonial Williamsburg. At first, we were a bit skeptical (we're organic food snobs and glad of it) but when we saw the menu, we were thrilled with the options of antibiotic-free & hormone-free beef & pork as well as Organic chicken. Soon after arriving we noted the wonderful service and atmosphere! Our entire crew couldn't decide on what to order so, with the help of our very patient and attentive server, we each chose something different and shared from one another's plate. It was truly great tasting food that was obviously NOT from a Cisco truck. (ugh) Everyone got more than enough to eat and our taste buds were completely satisfied. The only real downside I have to this entire review of this restaurant is that there's not one close to our home in GA. We'll have to schedule another vacation to the area just to satisfy our cravings. Thanks y'all!!!
Always great food & service!!
We had a very pleasant experience. The food was great!
Wonderful dining experience. Food, setting, and staff were all incredible!
We always eat here whenever we are in town. The food is fantastic and the wait staff are always extremely friendly and they have great timing. They dont stop by too often but know when you need them to.
What an AMAZING Dinner experience at this restaurant!!! We have couples, adults, and children at Food For Thought, and we all enjoyed our tasty meals. This restaurant does not take reservations, BUT it is WORTH the WAIT!!!
Service and food consistently delicious. Always a crowd which is best indicator of quality and popularity. Cilantro lime chicken and mashed sweet potatoes is a must try as is stuffed acorn squash. A definite favorite!
Cran Bisque, side salad, and Shrimp n grits for dinner there and it was awesome! Always a great meal at Food For Thought!
Great service! Great food! Stellar grits! I had the filet mignon with the lobster cakes, they were great, but small. The owner came by to greet us and was very courteous and caring! Good family place, very well themed (they had educational quotes everywhere, and their menus and materials looked very academic). The Rum Runner cocktail was very good as well.
Always great food!
Great food and service.
Always such a wonderful experience! Everything is on point....service, food. Love this place!!
Excellent food, excellent service!
After numerous visits, this place never disappoints. Whether it be a work outing with a wide array of dietary restrictions/preferences, a celebratory night out with friends, or a date night with your significant other, Food For Thought can accommodate and leave each guest satisfied (and possibly seconds).
Outstanding service and incredible food! We especially loved how they cater to dietary restrictions, with many dairy-free and gluten-free options. I wish we had one of these restaurants in Atlanta!
This place was terrific in every way! Food, service, atmosphere!!
