Maybe I’m biased because this is my first lobster roll but I have had lobster before and this one topped all of it. It is nice and fresh and amazingly tasty. I understand why this small restaurant is on the list of places to go for fresh lobster rolls.
Good chowder on an unpretentious outlet - possibly due to surrounding construction.
Delicious lobster roll!
Lobster roll was amazing! Bathroom was out of order though and the portable bathroom was in the corner of the lot and really gross. But beyond that, food and eating itself was great. Just go to the bathroom before you get there.
HOLY SMOKES I'VE BEEN LIVING HERE FOR THE LAST 25 YEARS AND NEVER HAD A LOBSTER ROLL THIS PERFECT EVERYONE CLAIMED TO HAVE THE BEST ONE BUT THESE PEOPLE HERE ARE EXTRAORDINARY!! I GUESS YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR AND I WILL BE PAYING AGAIN THANKS YOU GUYS!!! LONG LIVE THE HOOKS🤟🏼
On our recent trip to Boston wanted to get some great Lobster rolls (admittedly not that difficult) to eat. Based on reviews we decided this was one of the spots to try. They did not disappoint, it was outstanding! Very generous lobster portions at a really terrific price, we honestly could have split a large one but ended up eating them both. Light on the mayo as well. Small place with outside seating, good sides and drinks (no booze) and great location. Will definitely end up there again on my next trip to Boston.
Freshest lobster around! Two bowls of soup, two large lobster rolls, a crab cake and drinks was 90 bucks, but with lobster, you get what you pay for. Ambiance is a fishmarket in a semi-permanent structure on the corner of a big intersection. They have lots of outdoor seating though and plenty of shade. Highly recommended for the quality of the seafood!
Fantastic lobster rolls where designated with outdoor feels. Good experience for me as Singaporean!
Awesome prices awesome food awesome lobsters
The best lobster rolls ever!!
The lobster rolls are to die for
If you get chance go! I went for a 2lbs lobster and I can honestly say it's the best lobster and actually best seafood I have ever eaten. You can taste how fresh it is. It's not the cheapest meal option but definitely worth it for the flavour. Staff actually managed it really well although it was very busy and food came quite quick
Delicious, fresh seafood! We arrived around 1pm Friday and the line up was approximately 5 minutes. Ordered lobster bisque, whole lobster and lobster roll. Large chunks of lobster with mayo on toasted bread. The whole lobster was delicious as well! Meaty and juicy. The lobster bisque was ok, nothing to write home about. I felt the bisque was blended.. And perhaps I personally enjoy chunky lobster bisque vs. Blended bisque. I definitely recommend the lobster roll here! We later went out to other places in Quincy Market and noticed the rolls didn't even have as much lobster as the one here! So it's worth it!
Best lobster and crab rolls EVER !!!!!!
Lobster roll is so great and full of lobster truly enjoy going there as often as I can
Pretty nice outdoor seating taking into account your sitting at a major intersection. Not much of a view. I'm not there for the view, I'm there for the wonderful lobster rolls. It's a very no-nonsense seafood place. The staff is primarily young kids. They seem nice enough. I like the fact that you can get a lobster roll naked. They give you a little side of drawn butter to go with it. I'm not a mayonnaise person and it's hard to find somewhere that makes a naked lobster roll. The Chowder is very good there as well but again, it's all about the lobster roll for me.
Was here waiting on a flight leaving that night, so I took a ferry over to downtown Boston. Had multiple ppl tell me to come here, so i decided to check them out. The place is adjacent to the water term I am, and other transit. It's more like a trailer with a few park benches outside, but the place stays busy most of the afternoon. Medium lobster roll is $20, large is $25. Average sides. But the lobster roll is amazing. Traditional in prep. I got hot butter on the size to drizzle on top & it was perfection. There is a slight view of the harbor and an old bridge. Get there early, or right before they close as lines can get LONG. Service was fast though. Would come back!
