Best BBQ that I ever ate
Great barbeque! Husband had the brisket and it was excellent, smoky, flavorful and still moist. I had the pulled pork sliders on Hawaiian rolls and they were yummy! He also had a jalapeno sausage link which was good, but way too spicy for me. Just a 20 minute drive from Round Rock and we'll worth it!
Brisket was great!!!
Pretty good bbq...busy and overpriced
The best of the best of Central Texas BBQ
Words cannot describe the flavors of the smoked brisket I was served. Ask for the cutters choice. You wont br disappointed
The BBQ is the best anywhere, but I don’t like the coleslaw. The potato salad is good and the pinto beans are good but I’d rather have regular pinto beans and not chili beans. Overall I love this place!
One of the best bbq joints in Texas. Everything is great, but I especially love the ribs!
OMG.... Best BBQ in Texas. The beef rib...although $40 by itself was magnificent and worth the money. The brisket was the best I ever had and I've eaten alot of it. I kick myself for not getting the Jalapeno Sausage. I tasted a piece of my buddy's and it was awesome. Pork ribs were pork ribs....Meaty, smoky, and juicy. The only negative was the peach cobbler. I got a bowl of doughy goo with little or no peaches at all.YUCK. But Im not petty enough to take away a star for that. Definitely going back to Taylor TX
Fabulous food, only reason they don't get 5 stars is it was so hot in the restaurant, air conditioning was not sufficient for the room. Next time I'll do take got
Man the bbq is good here. I MEAN GREAT. The price is the reason for 4 stars. This is the most overpriced bbq I've experienced. Waiting in line for 45 minutes to get your meal is a little extreme for 11 am on a Saturday but hey the food made it worth the wait. I do visit many bbq places even the smallest in the middle of nowhere. I ordered a beef rib and was shocked to pay $35 for it as they go by the pound when others have a flat charge. Never paid more than $19.99 for a nice meaty rib.
What can I say, there's a reason its widely considered to be the best barbecue in Texas. The brisket is fall apart tender and the sausage is made from brisket trimmings and comes either regular or with jalapeno and cheddar rolled in. The beef rib is akin to a super tender post roast. If you love low and slow this place should be on your bucket list.
Really great barbeque and although there's a long line, it's fun with friends
The frito pie is the best I've had anywhere. Super tasty!
Saw on man fire food. Known for brisket and ribs
Great food, but a bit too expensive.
The beef rib was life changing...I will never look at beef or barbeque the same! We got there at the end of the day, and the guy behind the counter was awesome; he threw in some extra turkey (also amazing) since they were out of the baby backs we wanted. Very relaxed atmosphere with delicious food and family style service!
You can not beat the pork ribs and beef ribs! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the BBQ sauce is not worth trying. The coleslaw was mediocre. Still, it is one of the finest BBQ joints in central Texas. They ship all over the country! The staff is very helpful and should be commended on their efficiency. Love the ambience, old....
Brisket is second to none. Atmosphere is without peer. Grab some well rendered beef and a cold drink..get a t shirt to remember one of the best BBQ bites you'll ever have. Highly recommend.
