Mueller's is the definition of Texas brisket. The staff was very friendly and patient as we ordered. The main room was pretty warm but the second room was very comfortable. Will definitely be eating here again.
The brisket and sausage is some of the best BBQ I have had.amazing! The potato salad is just like momma made! The beans are just beans. The beach cobbler was very tasty. The sauce isn't very good...but who need sauce with meat this good! The bad? It was an 85* day when we went and it had to have been 120* inside...I had sweat through my shirt before I could order...dang it was hot. They do have a side room that has some a/c and fans. But not enough seating.
Beef ribs are special, brisket was a bit dry, however.
Excellent! Love the ribs!!!!
The title of best BBQ in Texas is not just a marketing slogan.
I came at opening on a Saturday, after eating at Snow's just to get the legendary beef rib. The place is awesome, and the bbq is amazing. With I had another day to try the other offerings, but my wife said no more after eating at 3 of the top 5 joints in Texas. I'll be back someday!
Truly amazing! This is why you do a BBQ road trip. The beef rib (1 rib = 3 lbs!) is the best in Texas!!
Good flavor. Could use AC
The moist brisket is delicious. It's worth the drive to Taylor. Consistently good BBQ and a reasonable line.
Best and largest beef rib in central Texas. This is not a foo-foo trendy bbq place but just an old school traditional joint with great bbq and cold beer.
Best BBQ in Texas. Hands down.
Some of the besr BBQ in Texas. The beef rib is a must have.
The best tasting bbq ever!
Wow... Just, wow.
Visiting from Utah and had to stop since we knew they have won awards for their barbecue. The beef rib was seasoned perfectly and was so tender. Also loved the brisket. The sides were all delicious and the beans have a little kick that was unexpected. Will return every time we visit Taylor, Texas!
Food was really good but it was very hot inside the place and when you're waiting in line for well over an hour, that's not good.
I ate here until my stomach hurt...then ate more because it was that good
The best brisket this native Texan has eaten in my 40+ years. When asked, “moist or lean?” Definitely choose moist. It will redefine what you believe is good brisket.
Great BBQ in a rustic setting. Love the food here!
