so fancy !! beautiful , the food is really good
Bice has a great atmosphere with fantastic food. Our server was very attentive and helpful in food selection. I had pasta with lobster and crab in it, which was an excellent choice. This is definitely a must-go-to if you are in Orlando.
We booked at Bice for a family dinner for my husbands birthday. Excellent service. Food was tasty, the ambiance great. Live pianist played and was not too noisy - we were able to talk without having to compete with the music or noise from other guests. It is on the pricey side but for special occasions definitely worth it.
My wife and I are here last night Large nicely presented restaurant (my wife found the ac a bit cold) Excellent friendly service Food was pretty good My tuna tartare entree was nice and my Tournedos Rossini (they don’t call it Tournedos Rossini but that’s the dish in essence) was fine - the mignon was a decent piece of meat cooked to medium perfectly, the froi gras needed flashing in a pan (too wet for my taste) and I couldn’t detect the truffle in the mashed potatoes Emma’s gnocchi sorrentina was good My only real gripe was I spent 30 bucks on a glass (not bottle) of Brunello and it came out way way too cold - killed the flavour I did flag this and they brought me out another complimentary glass of red whilst the brunello warmed up / breathed (I ended up decanting the latter into the empty glass when I’d drink the comp glass! I’d honestly say the replacement wine ended up being better (I’m sure it wasn’t 30 dollars either) but a minor blip on a good evening
We had a family birthday dinner at Bice on a Saturday night. It was outstanding in every way: ambiance, menu, service, all first rate! I can't think of a fine dining restaurant I have visited that is more deserving of 5 stars!
I ate at this restaurant one evening and really enjoyed it. The restaurant is nicely decorated and a great escape from the fast food tourist places. It is a bit pricey. We had calamari and shrimp appetizer and then a fantastic Wagyu sirloin steak. Dinner for three approx. $275 for 4 glasses wine, shared appetizer, and three entrees. Nice visit and can recommend.
We were celebrating our anniversary and had a wonderful (quiet, rare at Universal) meal at BiCE. It’s off season so we requested outdoor seating on the veranda closest to the boat dock (there is another over a bar which may have a loud singer at nights) around 7:15. Four tables overlooking the lake...we had it all to ourselves. The lobster bisque with a seafood tart was delicious as was the linguini with shellfish. My wife enjoyed her lasagna in a white sauce she very much enjoyed. Top it off with tiramisu and cappuccino with kahlua and you have any excellent meal. The waiter and staff were very attentive. A romantic and wonderful experience. Highly recommended.
We ate dinner here after a long day in the parks and were really tired. We were staying at the Loews Portofino where this restaurant is located, so that made the decision easy for us. We ordered a Chicken Marsala, lasagna, cannelloni, and mushroom risotto. We also has a bruschetta, a ceasar salad-heavy on the dressing, and a tuna tartar, (there were four of us)! We had three glasses of wine (total) and our bill was $225. The food was good, and the service was great. We didn't have a reservation and the clothing requirements were resort or business casual. My husband and sister both wore shorts with nice tops and shoes and had no problems. We loved the convenience, but will likely try another option on our return in several years.
Nice cocktail area, astonishing view, delicious appetizers and mouthwatering Italian food. Thoughtful service
We dined at Bice for our anniversary dinner. Service was outstanding, with a kind and very attentive waiter (despite the fact that it got pretty busy towards the end of our meal), and food was truly delicious. We had the homemade primo sale cheese appetizer which was amazingly tasty, as well as 4 pasta dishes: the hat shaped pasta with braised short-rib (delicious but so rich), the eggplant stuffed pasta (tasty and a bit lighter), pappardelle al telefono (delicious but also very rich), and spaghetti ala Chimaera (both pasta and seafood were delicious). I could not decide among the great options, so our waiter suggested that I could get 2 half portions of pastas (so just a heads up that you can do this). For dessert we had the Nutella mousse and liquid chocolate cake - both were good, but not exceptional; however, the pastas were really, really good, as was the appetizer. The food was not inexpensive, but fairly reasonable by theme park standards. The ambience is more appropriate to an adult meal, so it is suitable for special occasions, a romantic night out, or just a good night of dining. They do have a kids menu (it's Universal), and there were a few kids there, but it is not really a kid-oriented restaurant (but you can bring kids if you need to). I would love to go back there, and it was quite a memorable dinner!
My family takes a trip to Portofino Orlando, from England, every year. Sometimes twice. Each time we stay for 14 nights. The Bice has given us top quality food and service every time. On this occasion I was visiting with my daughter and we dined with Bice 3 times. From the second we walked in we were welcomed back by staff, they are an incredible team who always ensure that everything is just so. The food, once again, was faultless; I had no idea lasagne could taste so good! Steak wonderful, I could go on....the knowledgeable staff always take time to talk through the menu and offer recommendations. A visit to the Bice is a fine dining, gourmet experience. Guests are never rushed and are made to feel valued. I look forward to several more evenings at this high end establishment when we return next year.

Place is wonderful . Alex is a great server . Food is top knotch
Bice restaurant at the Loews Portifino bay was excellent. The price is on the top end but the food was worth every bit. I had Atlantic Salmon with crushed pistachios. Melt in your mouth. Plenty of bread at table. Unfortunately salad was not included. Waiter we had had a strong Italian accent but took his time to explain all of the items so we knew what each was. I would recommend as a nice couples restaurant.
The resort is truly a touch of Italyâ£ï¸ The restaurant is Beautiful, the service impeccable, the food delicious! Whether you choose indoor or outside dining it’s lovelyâ£ï¸
So I been a bit underwhelmed by some of the food and cocktails on offer at Portofino Bay hotel and went to Bice with low expectations. I was delighted to be confounded. Starting off with an excellent Martini, mixed by a nice chap from Peru, followed by an excellent dinner and some great Barolo. The appetizers in particular were imaginative and beautifully presented. It certainly wasn't cheap but I would suggest good value.
Amazing food and amazing staff
Fantastic place, food and service ... celebrated my husband’s bday... and even made changes to my plate due to dietary restrictions... will definitely come back!!
