Frog legs are awesome and so is everything else I've tried. Great prices for what it offers.
They serve good tasty food
An institution, great for large family or business events
Great food and ambiance and prices were very reasonable. A winner!
Our Lunch was great, just a bit to dark, trouble reading menu, we used are phone flaslight. Otherwise it was fun.
Service was good enough but the Monday set menu was pretty lame. Salad, mussels and some sort of pastry dessert. We were going to send the dishes back it but I felt awkward sending our entire dinner service back to the kitchen. The wait staff again was great and attentive - no issue there. Definitely not expecting this from a Michael Mina restaurant
Steak frites! What's not to love?
Bety golf servir Andrés grreat golf it's may favorite place
My favorite place for tasty french food. staff is always timely even when they have a full house. next time i'll be back with my coworkers. food is similar to a cafe in indianapolis i liked.
Beautiful, historic, gracious and fabulous food!
Reliable, unpretentious French country food. Best pea soup ever!
Pretty good. They serve you bread and veggies when you sit down. The food and service was decent. Will come back again.
Wonderful food! Excellent service!
Lunch presentation dound was not good.
Another cultural and epicurean hangout that cannot be missed, especially if you love good, simple French food. There are many reasons Taix is a local treasure. Find them out yourselves.
french food and the setting here is very good. Nice place to think about business. Service is typically great. The place has an awesome atmosphere. Feeling here is similar to a cafe in San Jose I liked.
Nice, quiet restaurant where you can actually talk with the people who came with you. Maple duck was excellent.
french food and the setting here is quality. Loved this place from the first taste. Bring your hunger - portions are large.
Love this place it does get its rush crowds but great food and service.
I had not been to Taix for many years, but plus ça change, it’s still the same old school French charmer. I love the darkish atmosphere and the food is still very good, with healthy portion sizes. We had a few appetizers which were superb: a Chef Appetizer of large succulent scallops and a plate of escargots. Both were really good and the escargot garlicky sauce was as French as it could be. For mains, we had Chilean sea bass over a nice bed of sweet potato puree, a Saturday special Duck à l’Orange, and Roast Chicken. Everything was super tasty and my brother salivated over the Duck à l’Orange. They have an especially good add-on to main entrees for only $5 which includes a soup and a salad, so why not? The soup was a light potato leek and was superb. There was a choice of salads. By the time we finished our meals, we were sadly too full to try any of their desserts. It was nice to return to Taix after a number of years. We will certainly return.
