Great soups and a very comfortable setting.
Great food, great service. I feel like I go thru a time gate, very classy place.

Is great atmosphere and the prices are unbeatable
They serve big dishes and for fair rates. very welcoming staff. They never disappoint.
Fine French cuisine. Excellent service and presentation of food, tasty too!
Party of 50, we had 3 pre-selected entrees plus mac and cheese for kids. Food was very good, service was excellent. Simple salads, nicely prepared and not over dressed. Chicken was delicious. Valet parking was convenient and very reasonably priced. A very good value. Excellent for midsize and larger events.
Good food great service
As someone who enjoys international cuisine, French is somewhat of a rarity, even in a place such as Los Angeles. Upon discovering Taix, I was not disappointed by its charming image, both outside and the interior, fancy, yet not overblown to discourage the non-wealthy. When most of us think of ratatouille, the award-winning animated film by Disney-Pixar comes to mind. It served as a confident for me to try the real fare of ratatouille that Taix provides. The results were beyond expectations, in a delightful mix of vegetables, with a touch of sauce and seasonings that provided a fantastic blend of healthy taste and stimulating pleasure senses. A wonderful testament to the culinary arts that come from French cooking, simple, but one of the most satisfying experiences in my life of international cuisine. 4.5 out of 5 stars for the Taix, not due to any direct lack of perfection, but to always strive for greatness. With perfection, there is no more progress. But a vote of confidence is given, with the uttermost thanks to the chefs and staff of Taix for providing delightful fare that honours the integrity of true French cuisine.
Awesome French restaurant with authentic cuisine. Very old school and classy.
This place is a LA classic! You can't go wrong with anything you eat here. The service and wine were top-notch and came for restaurant week which was a steal!
Wonderful service and delicious food!
The mussels were some of the best I've had. Wanted to keep the sauce. The steak and frites was cooked perfectly.
Always great service for our group.
The food was good. I have been here before. Today the had the dine L.A promotion. I ended up going with that. You get a choice of wine ,a starter, main dish , and dessert. I ended up ordering escargot also (sepatate, as it's not part of the dine L.A. menu)
One of my favorite restaurants around! Been going for 15 years now. Always consistent and I'm happy that they carry 1662!
Wonderful food. Great atmosphere.
Best place to have scargo, I like them extra hot
This 90 years old restaurant is our favorite whenever we come to L.A ( Every other year, to visit our son and family). Even though it is very elegant, in an old-fashioned, European way, kids are welcome (and ours behaved accordingly) and besides to well-dressed ladies and gentlemen, we saw people dressed very casually, it is California, after all... The food was, as usual, excellent (great steak) except for the pasta which was over-salty and the kids didn't like (we took a doggy-bag). The service was correct - not too friendly, as befits French restaurants. Hopefully, we'll come again in due time. Valet parking is a mere $3.50
