I was expecting to see a crowd on a Friday night but there were open tables, which as an out of towner had me concerned. We ended up having a wonderful meal with great service. The view was special as well. The oysters were all delicious and the tuna tartare appetizer was also wonderful. Each of us ordered a variety of fish meals and we loved them. The lobster Mac and Cheese was a wonderful side dish for those that ate it and there was non stop SF sourdough as well.
Location is everything for this restaurant. Beautiful views and ambiance. Service and food were okay.
Overlooking the sea. Nice atmosphere.
Very close to Embarcadero centre and the end of Market street, a good restaurant by the waterfront. The dining room is not too large, which is pleasant. Good selection of seafood, and some meat too for turf lovers. Not opened until late, make sure you have finished dining by 9.30 pm
One of SF's best. View from every angle.
Excellent food and the view is fantastic. Special Compliments to the chef for the clam chowder. Great place for a family celebration!
p5* Waterfront Restaurant 7 The Embarcadero Restaurant, San Francisco (200 yards north of the Ferry Building) Great dining spot for special occasions View of the Bay Bridge Dinner, Lunch, Happy Hour Most excellent service by Rafik Nice house bread Delicious clam chowder Caesar salad was okay Tasty steamed clams Loved the homemade pasta with seafood entrée Cheesecake was good Excellent food service by Rafik Very enjoyable evening until had problems with an Open Table gift card The restaurant manager, Kimberly Alegrete, was absolutely fantastic in trying to resolve the problem, not the restaurant’s fault. We were so impressed with this restaurant and the fantastic “take care of you†attitude we came back the next night for Happy Hour. The red wine by the glass was excellent. Had Sierra Nevada, Anchor Steam, and Stella on tap The Kobe beef sliders, calamari, and were great. Clams were good. The pizza was okay. The pumpkin panna cotta was delish. Good service by Doug. Saw the wonderful Kimberly again. Now one of our top three places in the City
Good food and atmosphere right on the Bay!
We went there for New year's eve. Got three pretty good dishes and very good wine. We had to wait a bit too long for the wine. When we got the bill they allready had put 20% tips to the bill witch we found odd.
Loved their Crab Louis and Cioppino. This is the kind of place we take out of town guests.
Great location at Pier 7 near Embarcadero Center with great views of Bay and Bridge. Food is mostly seafood with good variety. Service was excellent. Save room for Chocolate souffle cake!
Wonderful view of the San Francisco Bay Bridge and Treasure Island. The food is delicious and the service is top notch. Even a little issue of our daughter not being allowed near the bar was handled very professionally by the wait staff (FYI no one under 21 at the bar but there is great seating in the bar area). Also, the proximity to the Explorium museum on piers 15/17, make it a great place to have a few cocktails both before and after handling all of those children. The pizza was a hit with our daughter and the lunch special hit the spot. The clam chowder was some if the best I have had in awhile and that grilled chicken sandwich was very flavorful. Finally the little creme brulee to top it off was amazing. Only bad part was toward the end of our meal, I feel like we were forgotten about some because I was ready to order a cappuccino with the creme brulee but couldn't get a server. With the ambiance, views, and proximity to everything (even including the inability for a cappuccino at the end during this visit) I would definitely go back and bring friends next time we are in the San Francisco area. Thank you for sharing your restaurant with us and taking good care of us (for a majority of the visit). Looking forward to visiting again.
We were seated outside in the covered patio area. Great view of the bay from our table. Wasn't sure I was going to get along with our waiter. He seemed to be in a bit of a mood, but as the evening wore on, we got along famously, with lots of laughs and impeccable service. Thanks Doug! Both my wife and I ordered the seafood, and it was cooked perfectly. The wine pairings were impeccable and really made the evening.
Invited my family here for lunch. Staff were friendly and accommodating for the children. We all really enjoyed our food, can recommend the lobster macaroni and cheese starter and Kobe beef burger
The food was excellent, and we had waterfront views of the harbor. Nice table by the window. Very good fries, and great chowder with lots of clams.
The good was wonderful and the staff was great.
