Great experience. Good food and lots to choose from on the menu plus great service. The owner walks around talking to diners and ensuring they are enjoying the experience. Also, Ventano has excellent views of Las Vegas from their hillside position.
Always try to take my wife to a different restaurant on her birthday. With all the road construction in/around our Henderson neighborhood, I selected a locally-owned place a few miles from our home after scanning their menu. Open Table res was a lifesaver as even on a week day, this place was crowded with large groups and walk-ins expecting to be seated immediately. Hostess appeared to be overwhelmed with crowd at reception and we were amazed as it was only 5:30pm. Maybe the day before Thanksgiving had an impact but needless to say, our Open Table res got us seated instantly (but not warmly). Our server Mike was seasoned and made us feel comfortable. Mike's back-up was also attentive despite the large crowd and busy kitchen. Calamari was tender and perfect with gentle marinara with chili flakes. Wife's scampi/chicken spiedini excellent. Daughter's fettucini alfredo with tender chicken was large, rich but not overly creamy. I opted for chicken saltimbocca (sage/prosciutto) served with spinach and fingerling potatoes. Truly amazing dinner with plenty of leftovers to enjoy again. Only letdown was place was so busy, they overlooked it was my wife's bday so while she did not receive any complimentary dessert as is usual/customary won't deter us from returning for another special occasion. The food here is always excellent, a fun date night ! Beautiful view of the city. Lava cake is absolutely amazing!
I have gone to this restaurant several times. Even on holidays the service was really good. They make the best calamari I have ever had. This is our favorite appitizer. The food is great and I would recommend this restaurant for anyone that wants a good stress free dinner.
Another visit to Ventano Grill last week. I had the shrimp on the stone ( a must ) and chicken marsala. Both tasted great. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner Arnauld and his daughter ( my apology I forgot her name ). While it was quite busy in there service was excellent. Dinner was finished off with crème brulee, thanks Arnauld, see you next time in town.
The food was very good, had a bowl of minestrone soup before splitting a dinner and it was a very very large bowl for $5 I could have just eaten that alone with the bread which was really really good the spaghetti was good and included very large meatballs well worth the price especially considering it was in the hotel casino
It is a pleasure to be back here. The food is Always Fabulous. A few items on the Menu I have not tried in the past. I Always go Back to the lasagne
Ventano's is our top Italian restaurant to have a quiet dinner and drink, and also to bring visitors to. You can view the Las Vegas Strip light at night from the outside patio seating area and also from some of the tables inside. The only problem we ever had was when someone had rented the patio area for an event and it blocked the view for everyone else because they put up balloons, posters, etc.... But that was a one-time problem out of many times that we had been there previously. The staff are wonderful and they take the time, if needed, to explain all of their specialty dishes and wines. The presentation and taste of the food was above the average Italian restaurant and we have never had a bad meal. A bonus - their portions are large enough that you can take home leftovers.
This neighborhood restaurant has consistently tasty Italian food. There is also an out door patio where you can dine when the weather is nice and the view of the strip is beautiful.
We were in Las Vegas for our son's wedding and were looking for a place to take our family for dinner. It was our daughter's 19th birthday and we wanted to do something special for her. She love's Italian food. The food and service was amazing. There were 7 people in our group. All of our meals were great. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
My wife and I have been to Ventano's a few times and we are never disappointed with the service, the food and the SPECTACULAR VIEW! We entertained a good friend of ours on the weekend and had dinner on June 23rd at 7:30pm. It was the perfect time to have dinner, as the sun was setting over the Las Vegas strip. This restaurant is one of our favorite spots and we consider a "bright diamond" in the rough desert. If you are in the area, we recommend to visit Ventano Italian Restaurant.
With a wonderful view of the Vegas skyline Very good food great service We had a great meal and I will return The fried calamari was very tender The shrimp frances excellent Put this restaurant on your list DD
This place was selected for a graduate with family members. The service was excellent from start to finish. There was a selected menu for our party size. It had several good selection. The appetizers were plentiful. An awesome experience and I would like to go back with another couple or two.
Upscale interior, good choices from which to select a well prepared meal, attentive service; great location for a sweeping view of Las Vegas, especially at sunset.
We come here for dinner every time we are in Las Vegas. Usually with a group of 6 to 8 people , small children & adults and everyone has a great time. The food is great and the wait staff is amazing and last night was no exception. Their personable, well trained staff is one of the things that brings us back,. The menu is huge & the kitchen staff does it all to perfection. How they managed to please the adult in our group that prefers Mc D's food over anything happy with such grace was amazing.
It was amazing the huge menu offered. Great table service and a fun atmosphere. White sauce or red sauce or just plain butter it was delightful for the two hour dinner.
Wife did not want to go to the standard Italian dining place we normal go to in Henderson, NV (starts with an "O"). She found Ventano's Italian Grill. We are not made of money and when I saw this place and we went in, I was really worried. It turned out what we had, costs almost the same as the "O" place. Very good Italian atmosphere, very good service, and the menu was extensive. But I am afraid, the specialty stuff is just a little beyond our budget for a normal day dinner out of the house. This is a place that is definitely for a special meal (Father's Day Mother's Days and the like) with very good friends and family. The wine list was trendy but expensive for us. Little children's dinner might be expensive. I did not see any senior and children discounts meals. The meals that I saw on other peoples tables seem to have lots of steamy food, serve professionally. I gave it a very good rating only because of the cost. It would be an exceptional place if it was just a little bit cheaper and with a little less amount of food. We saw a lot of people taken food home that they could not eat in the eatery.
Have eaten here on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. The food is always good and the service is outstanding. You have to try the scrimp on the stone which is one of the dishes that keep bringing us back. Large a varied menu. You will not be disappointed.
We love this place. The food is delicious. The staff is always so friendly. Shrimp on a stone is a “mustâ€. Their view of the strip at sunset is wonderful while having dinner.
Arriving on time we were seated very promptly and with professionalism, our server was very helpful and profecient. The meal paired with the wine was perfect along with the view, this is the place to go
