Very good omelets and service. Crispy hashbrowns. The background music (Sinatra, Fitzgerald, etc) is cool and not loud enough to interfere with conversation.
Not quite as good as it used to be but still a good place to go when in Galveston.
Great food and friendly service.
I had a fantastic breakfast this morning at Miller’s Seawall Grill across from the Gulf. Comfortable environment with a nice local vibe. The food was tasty and perfectly prepared as requested: eggs over medium, extra crispy bacon. Grits ideal. Melted butter was provided for simple, even distribution over pancakes or waffles (nice touch). Made-from-scratch biscuit was fitting for Texas - large, soft inside with the perfect crisp to its exterior. My waitress, “Maggieâ€, was genuinely pleasant, a soft-talker with a subtle personality; that is, she was not a loud, morning “cheerleaderâ€, which I greatly appreciated. My coffee and water were always re-filled without any delay. Service lacked nothing. I did not need to ask for anything. A job well done. I highly recommend.
Great food. Will definitely eat there again. The biscuits, sausage and gravy was beat I've ever had.
Very good service and food was excellent.
Great place to eat. First went there 30 years ago on our honeymoon. Went there again in 2006. Going there today for breakfast because every time we come to Texas to visit relatives we go there because of the great service and delicious food. Prices are reasonable too.
Friendly service, nice location with beach views, reasonable prices and generous servings. Very good hushpuppies served hot, good fish dinner and good shrimp and grits. Didn’t really care for the crab dip but others may love it. Very good Italian cream cake and key lime pie (tart, fabulous crust, unique texture).
We went out to eat at 8pm which was a bit late. They stop taking tables at 8:15pm. Ordered crab dip and a seafood platter. The dip was great and the food good but was really bland. I do not enjoy a lot of salt, but had to add a bit to my food. Our server, Michelle, was great and attentive. She moved us from an unruly table of screaming, unparented children so that we could enjoy our dinner. It was much appreciated.
We were delighted that our favorite place for breakfast has reopened post kitchen fire and is better than ever. Great to see Sherry and Faith's sweet faces after 4 months!!
Millers is great! The food has a homecooked taste rather than a big box chain taste. The crab dip appetizer has large pieces of crab. Seafood was fresh- no lemon needed. Millers Platter offers great choices & enough to share. Au gratin potatoes were rich and cheesy. Restaurant interior is comfortable and wood finishes are beautifully historic. Service was courteous and attentive. Only downsides- parking was a small challenge, and the wait for lunch on Saturday was about 45 min. It was CERTAINLY worth the wait.
Beware of long waits. Closes for dinner at 8pm. The food is good, especially for breakfast, since breakfast places are limited in Galveston. Service is great.
We visited Millers for breakfast yesterday to complement our evening stay at the Hotel Galvez for our anniversary. Millers is back! After being closed for repairs after the unfortunate fire they have made it all new...same decor and food quality only everything is new...food still "A" quality . We had the huervos rancheros and biscuit with coffee...Yum! The wait staff never let the coffee get cold and were hovering to assure we were OK. A+ service.
It took me two days to be able to find a parking spot for this restaurant. That speaks volumes. Once in, thankfully, I was able to try the food. Everything was great. The gravy is heaven. Hamburger steak is so tender, you don't need teeth to eat it. No joke. Will be back. Staff is friendly and accommodating.
It's one of the best places for French Toast in America! Period! Put Miller's on your food to do list. You will not regret it.
Miller's had a kitchen fire and has been closed for three months--oh the misery of three months without their biscuits--the best in Texas--and their French Toast, simply the best. Without question they have the best breakfast in Texas--no one ever complains after eating their. Even my mother says the biscuits are better than hers! I am so glad they are reopened. Besides the incredible food, they have the same phenomenal staff and spectacular views.
Excellent lunch... Will return many Times Thank you ..
This is a must go to for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Conveniently located on Sea Wall Drive, Miller's has the atmosphere, service and food of a fine dining restaurant but with a family style.
Very nice sea food restaurant. The staff is friendly
Excellent breakfast! So glad they are open again. My picky wife loved it all! Pork chops, biscuit, gravy, bacon and pancakes. We will be back! Haley was a gem of a waitress.
