Clasic LA Burger Restaurant
Not my mom's Big Boy but still excellent food and service. That hot fudge cake is yummmm
Great food and service
Thanks for responding! I had a great time. For our first trip, we were lucky to see all the cool cars there. Love the old fashion diner vibe. Food was really good. We will definitely be coming back.
Always love this place. Been coming here since I was a little kid and it is still great.
Food is always good
Very good customer service
For a family of 6 vacationing in LA from Idaho, this place is EXACTLY what we needed! The food was really good and the portions satisfied the hungriest of appetites after playing hard all day. We loved it so much we came back a second day in a row.
Big Boy is one of my all time favorites. It's worth the wait to get a seat, even late at night.
Un buen lugar.
The ORIGINAL Bob's so you'll see long time patrons and out of towners. It's a fun place and the food is great and in generous amounts! I'm 72 and I came here as a kid! Google the Car Shows...Hot Rods and Antiques!
Our first visit to L.A. with our kiddos, and of course we had to make a stop at Bob's Big Boy on the way out of town. We stopped for breakfast on a Saturdaymorning, so we had a little bit of a wait. Our waitress was very friendly, and attentive. The food was great. You get a lot of food for the price. Our son, who was there for the NYFA Summer Acting Program, was super-excited when we saw a celebrity at another table. Robbie Amell (The Duff, The Flash) was there with his wife. He was able to go over and meet him and even got a picture with him. They were super-friendly and it just made my son's visit to L.A. perfect. On Friday nights, they have a car show in the parking lot which is a lot of fun. This place has been around forever, and there's a reason it has stayed open this long. The food is always good, and the service is always good.Never disappoints!
I love the classics! Any restaurant that has invented something, been around a long time, delivers consistent food and has good service, I am there! Bobs Big Boy delivers in all aspects. Thought not the original location, that is long since demolished, it is the oldest, longest standing Bobs. They actually invented the double decker hamburger! It’s a joy to come here to eat. It’s always busy but the turnover is quick! The service is quick and the wait staff is friendly and warm. The clientele is a mix of locals and tourists. The food is consistent and comes quick. Sandwiches are good, salads are great and you can even buy their dressings at many grocery stores. I went with the super Big Boy combo. Double decker cheeseburger with fries and a salad. Classic and delicious! I love Bobs!!
The food is always good. Ask for your salads chopped and tossed with your favorite dressing. Not extra cost. It's wonderful. Service is good even when crowded. BUT, THE ACCOUSTICS ARE TERRIBLE!! THOSE CEILING TILES HAVE TO BE THE ORIGINALS. AND HOW MAY DECADES HAS IT BEEN?? TOO MANY!!! It's hard to think let alone talk. Everyone is trying to talk over everyone else. Add a screaming child or two and chaos ensues. I'm one of the fortunate few, I have hearing aids and can turn them off after ordering.
Believe it or not, I came and had the Veggie burger. It was great. But the Super Burger was the bomb.
How can you not do the iconic LA landmarks? This is the one from 1949 where Jay Leno comes with his old cars on Fridays. Get the original big boy. Like a big mac, only....big boyish. And how can anyone go home without the selfie with the big boy out front?
Buenas hamburguesas gran servicio
Also good food. Friendly folks. Your coffee cup is never allowed to be empty.
