Good place to eat but expect to wait if its busy ... good food and really good service .. they don't rush you and they make sure everything is in order and are on top of your need for anything
Always a fun and festive place to be. I had breakfast and couldn't eat it all - there was plenty. I was disappointed with the bacon as it tasted like a combination of lots of things besides bacon. If they used a smoked flavor bacon, it would be more distinctive, I think. They don't take discover card so bring a visa/mc. Novelty gifts are fun. They need to restock the bobble heads!
Haven't been to a Bob's Big Boy since I was a kid. Really brought back memories. Prices are reasonable, quality was great and service was excellent. Definitely a must see.
Wow, this was a very good experience at Bob's this time. Of course, I have been going to Big Boy throughout my life, childhood through adulthood. Today's visit was especially good. I don't eat red meat anymore. However, I really wanted an old school Big Boy burger, so I asked if they could make one with turkey rather than beef. They did! They even split the turkey patty in two to emulate the thin beef burgers on a Big Boy. They went above and beyond for me. Kudos! Compliments to the chef and to the waitress. Was acting as tour guide for a Twin Peaks fan friend, and we went here because of the Lynch connection. However, this friend also came to visit to see Sir Paul McCartney at Dodger Stadium, so finding out there was a famous booth where the Beatles had lunch at Bob's one day made her day. Too bad they didn't keep as meticulous of information on the booth David Lynch would sit in to have coffee and a milkshake, and dream up amazing stories. Nobody working there still remembered.
Went here on a Friday Night and turns out they have a classic cars meet here every Friday too. Awesome spectacle and great array of cars, from good old fashioned American muscle cars to a 1905 model T that I am not sure should have been on the road 😳. Nearly an hour wait for a table with no pre booking available so best turn up early and enjoy the show. No alcohol sold here. Burgers were ok and filling but not the best we have had by any means. Atmosphere and car gathering made this night 👍👍
Food was good but service was horrible. They forgot our order and we were there for over an hour until I finally asked what was going on. The manager apologized and we did get the meal for free. Rating the stars of quality of food.
Good tuna melt
Great food in historic location
Last of it's kind here in the state but absolutely loved the food.
Super, milkshake délicieux et pas chères. Le vendredi A-M concentration de véhicules anciens a voir absolument.
My family grew up in Burbank. Now only my kids are left in the area. Every time my family gets together in So Cal, Bob's is a must stop! Last time was in June and we had 11 of us. Great food, great service and love the atmosphere. Lots of childhood memories
Typical American diner with welcoming personnel and standard breakfast for a heavy day. Pancakes, sausage and eggs will power you up through the day.
Step back in time and had good food. Reasonable prices
Always good food!
Always great here...and got the hot fudge cake for 70 cents to share...happy 70th anniversary big boy
I moved from CA to TX in 1999, and one of the things I miss most is eating at Bob's Big Boy. Every time I visit CA, eating at Bob's Big Boy in Burbank is on the top of my list. I always order the delishious Original Big Boy Combo (that has remained unchanged and as wonderful as ever), but sometimes I crave the Pappy Parker Fried Chicken so I will just order a piece on the side. I also order a Chocolate Coke or Chocolate Diet Coke, which is also a must have! Of course (if there is any room left in my stomach), the delectable Hot Fudge Cake is the highlight of my wonderful meal. I guarantee that eating at Bob's will be a memorable experience that you will enjoy as much as I have. NOTE: The menu, food quality, & taste is consistant regardless of which location you eat at. But there may be added bonus at the Burbank location....it is located near Burbank Studio's and seeing someone famous eating there is not unusual. It's almost like having a second dessert:) Lol
The original...and the best.
My favorite Bob's, very old school
So happy they got rid of them dang paper straws. Earthquake was interesting side note. Janel best waitrress. Management walking around asking if everyone was ok.
