Food and service was awesome!!! Our server Alexandria just started a week ago and we really liked her she gave great service!!
If you want a fun hangout, with great food, great service and beautiful people, SUR is THE place to go. I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly everyone was. The goat cheese balls are a must! Love it! Trust me, just go!
Great staff and happy hour specials!! Looking forward to my next visit!
First rate establishment!
My friend and I finished a little earlier than expected at the Ellen Show so we thought we’d come to SUR for dinner as I’ve always been a fan of VPR. The hostess accommodated us arriving early and had a table for us in the garden area asap. We were bussed by Jeremy and served by Jesse. Both lovely gents with excellent service. Jesse was super knowledgeable with his recommendations and the service was bar none. We had the goat cheese balls and the lemon chicken piccata which were both quite delectable. With jesse’s recommendation we shared the blueberry cobbler which is hands down best I’ve had. Lovely music and ambiance as well. We will be back for sure!
I had my Birthday brunch at Sur. Great service, excellent food. Thanks
Food was great, service was excellent! Place looked nice especially for couple... romantic 😍 The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars was the portion, it was very small. I'm petite, usually can't finish dinner but this time I was still hungry after eating 😂
Meal was amazing, and service great too😀❤️
Great food and service. All menu items were very reasonably priced . Goat cheese balls certainly lived up to their reputation .
We had reservations and our table was ready right away. We were seated on the front porch which had a few too many pillows but we managed to stack them to make it comfortable. Tables didn’t have much room in between so if you’re a bigger fella be careful. Our waiter was Adam and he was very polite even though it seemed every table was asking him about the stars of the show which would of annoyed me. My wife got Vanderpump Rosé which we both agreed tasted a lot like Franzia. I ordered black tea since most restaurants we went to in LA only has flavored iced tea (which SUR has a passion fruit iced tea). I received hot tea and after explaining that I wanted just regular iced tea with no flavoring Adam quickly brewed some for me. Really nice guy. For supper, my wife got the angel-hair pasta and added shrimp and I got the ribeye medium-rare with broccolini and mashed potatoes. The steak was delicious but a little fatty (and a little thinner cut that what Texans are used to) which was no big deal. Steak came out the right temperature too. The broccolini was delicious. The mashed potatoes were very bland. Might I suggested mixing in some garlic salt and black pepper when making them. My wife enjoyed the pasta and the shrimp were large and there was plenty in her bowl. Both meals were filling. For dessert I had a Crown and coke. Bartender definitely wasn’t stingy with the Crown so it was worth the $13 price tag on it. Overall it was a pleasant experience. Side note: we went on a Tuesday. We didn’t see any regulars from the show at the restaurant but went to the bar section after where James was doing his See You Next Tuesday. Saw James, Guillermo, Raquel, and Jeremy from the show there along with Grant from the Bachelorette. If you’re wondering, James acts exactly the way he does in the show when there are no cameras around.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff who always made sure you were happy, food is great and fairly reasonable in price. Would gladly go again👍🏻
We visited LA from Australia. I'm a big fan of the show so wanted to eat at SUR. We weren't disappointed ! The food and service were both excellent.
Came down from Texas. Wife wanted to sight see. Management informed us a table just had opened up and offered it up to us. Food and hospitality reminded me of home.
Service was a lil slow at first - but was better after the. Server came over. Got to meet Peter he was so friendly. And the ribeye was ohhhhh myyy good. We had shrimp crab cakes they were great also. People say they are expensive but I don’t think so. You would spend the same at yuk outback. I am glad I went from SC to there made the trip worth it. Just wish I would of went the day before so I could of been there for Pride.
Fabulous place, great food and sexy waiters. Christian call me ya
Had dinner there last Friday night (June 8th). Our waiter (Jesse, I believe) left a lot to be desired in terms of speed, friendliness and attention. However, our busser was Jeremy Madix and HE. WAS. PHENOMENAL. I cannot compliment him enough. He has the best personality and is so completely nice to everyone. A bunch of people wanted pictures with him and he was only happy to do it, he never seemed put out or like it was a bother. He is a true asset to your restaurant. And, of course, the food and drinks were outstanding. I was a guest in L.A. but I told everyone I was staying with (all locals) they need to go for the food. Overall an excellent experience. Please pass along my compliments to Jeremy.
Fancy drinks and lively environment.
Always wanted to check out SUR and I was so glad we did! Food, service and ambiance were all amazing! LVP is a real Lady Boss!
Always delighted to be at SUR. It was a busy day as it was pride, but service was smooth, Max was a delightful server, and the food was amazing as usual. Yummy filet, and the blackberry cobbler is the best!
