Awesome hidden gem!
Great staff, hidden gem that stays open late in quiet neighborhood
Atendimento e comidas sensacionais, ambiente sofisticado e acolhedor
Great place for dinner! Loved the vibe and ambiance there. Food was delicious - 3 of us had the prime rib & 2 of us had the chicken marsala. All delicious!! The French onion soup was soooo good! Our waiter was Brian - he provided attentive, quick (without rushing) and friendly service. Parking is tight with this place being in a primarily residential area. We got lucky & found a spot across the street. If I did not see a picture of the front of this restaurant, I could have missed it because it does not look like a restaurant. We were happy to find a great restaurant away from the busier areas of the City - Embarcadero, Union Square, Fisherman’s Wharf - and we will be back!!
U want to rate it one star so no one will go there, but, this is such a great restaurant...
Dazu durchs Band freundliches Personal. Volle Punktzahl und jederzeit gerne wieder!
Looking for Good new york steak? This is Hidden goldmine. Great food with great service! My last night at San Francisco was awesome because of this restaurant. If you visit San Francisco, recommend you guys for great quality of dinner and bar. JMT!! :)
Lovely atmosphere. We had the prime rib.
My boyfriend and I were visiting San Fran and couldn’t find anything that sounded good that was open on a Friday night!! Nearly everything was closed at 9pm! I finally found The Brazen Head on Google and decided to go there. The atmosphere was a delight, the food was DELICIOUS, and our server went above and beyond! My boyfriend has a dairy allergy, and our server checked everything with the chef and recommended and put together stuff him and I would both love to eat! He was very helpful! If I’m ever back in San Fran, I will be visiting again for sure. My boyfriend had the Filet Mignon with a peppercorn sauce (instead of the dairy sauce that originally comes with), and I had a wonderful salmon in a cream sauce. I recommend this place 10/10!
The best of the old school! Exquisite classic cocktails, elegant service, and captivating ambience. What a hidden gem, not only in location, but also in time.
dim light, east coat personas... this place is a hidden gem.
Great neighborhood bar and restuarant. I have never been disappointed. They serve food until 1 am.
A true hidden gem in the city, accidentally stumbled in here for a late night bite and was treated to the best prime rib dinner I've ever had.
The Brazen Head's non-descript speakeasy entranced doesn't hint to the great drinks and very good food inside. With no visible signage it's an easy place to miss, but once inside its raucous atmosphere there's no mistaking you are in for great SF libations and food. Table wait was about 45 minutes so we opted for two spots at the bar. Michael our bartender slid up soon as we sat down and asked for our drink orders Mojitos and martinis were the drinks to be had. They were served cold, clean and made fresh. The dinner menu is typical for American cuisine of steaks and roast, but there are daily specials and some restaurant favorites worth trying. I had the fresh oysters as a starter and braised lamb prepared in a savory reduction with fresh new vegetables and baked potato. The lamb was well prepared and portion size was very good. My wife had the prime ribThursday special. The dinner came with salad, baked potato and steamed veggies. The prime rib was tasty and well prepared. Perhaps not the best I've had but very good for the price point. We shared a bottle of the house red; believe it was a Sonoma Valley Petit Syrah. Not a bad first night's dinner in SF. Price point was about average for SF and that area. The nostalgia of old style SF is well preserved at the BH so worth a visit.
Nice small restaurant. Dinner service starts at 5:00 pm. Steak, pork, basic seafood choices. I had the double cut pork chop with creamy mashed and green beans. My partner had the petite filet with the same accompaniments. We both thoroughly enjoyed these delightful, perfectly cooked cuts. I have never had a more tender chop in my life. Wait staff was limited to one individual so was a bit slow. $$ - $$$
Hittade restaurangen på internet och det var en positiv överraskning. Väldigt trevlig och mycket god mat. Kändes som en kvarterskrog. Ingen turistrestaurang. Kan starkt rekommendera.
Perfect nighttime dinner for a good conversation. Great staff too.
